lol keane should retire, its a crying shame to see him go on these terms.. and i dont think its entirely based on those comments he made the other week. His injury + hes too old to play next season + we looking and some decent midfielders who are eager to play his role, we have alot of competent players that can step up to the captain spot atm mainly rio in my view..

but anywho, cant wait to see the end of season testimonial.. and yes I have a season ticket, east stand w00t.

Man Yoo are having a hell of a time trying to find a replacement for Roy Keane, so if they haven't found the new Roy Keane yet why get rid of the Roy Keane they have? For a player who still gets in the starting 11 when fit and is the fucking captain, footballing reasons play a very small role in his departure

Its hardly the first time locker room politics have aided the swinging of fergies choices *cough* stam *cough* Beck's *cough* Its just a pity keane couldn't keep his record of captain quality off the pitch whilst he chose to slate his own teammates..

Again sad to see him go, but as fergie has said before and im sure he will again. no player is bigger then the club.

anywho (the second) keane needs to leave, most likely to celtic, to gain more experience if hes ever going to have a stab at managing a team of his own.

I'm absolutely gutted as i'm a big Man U fan and over the last 15 years i can say that my 3 favourite players were Roy Keane, Dennis Irwin and Eric Cantona

i'm really sad that his career for Man U had to end like this :/
he was a truly great player and i think it is a huge loss to Man U.

If there going to retrain Alan Smith as a midfielder who does he have to look up to and learn off now? We definnatly need to bring in a decent midfielder now in the january transfer window, and not another Djemba Djemba! I just hope Alan Smith doesn't start looking at Scholes tackling !!!!

Although its bad to harsh out your team mates, what he said is true. The midfield players we have bought and that are coming through aren't up to scratch. With chelsea dominating we need to be at our best and performances this season haven't been good enough. How are we going to pressurise chelsea by losing to Blackburn at home? or getting hammered 4-1 at middlesborough ?

I doubt he will sign for another English club as he has said he wouldn't and Celtic or managing Ireland are the obvious choices. I'd be surprised if he didn't go to Celtic.
