There only reason in which Ill support abortion is if the mother of the child would be threatening her life and doesn't have the physcial maturity to go through the process of bearing a child (like a young teenager etc). But basically i oppose abortion because it is messing with the gift of life and that is a precious thing not to be thrown away. I know womans rights are a great thing in the United States and some other countries, but when it comes to messing with the greatest gift God has to offer, I dont think it is appropriate to do. So, just keep ur pants up until you are atleast very much in love with some one or "face the consequences". I know alot of people have sex for pleasure these days, but it is really meant to express the love and unity between ur loved one. Reserve that for the one you [will] love and an abortion wont be something to consider.

I say that with religion there is no morality, because with religion there is a certain reward for good deeds. So people do not do good deeds out of the goodness of their heart, rather, they do good deeds in order to self-profit in the future.

some religions, yes. Christianity, as far as i'm concerned, is against that notion. the reward does not come from good deeds; good deeds follow from accepting that reward. religions teach beliefs of good and bad, hence morality. many atheists believe there is no good, and so, no bad.

ignorant, probably, but i didn't say 'all' atheists. i refer to 'many' being considerably more than one, and 95% of my friends are atheists, most of whom fall under the category.

Actually, it isn't just because of a lack of rewards. Some people do what they consider to be good deeds simply because their superego tells them they should. However, there's really no such thing as "good" or "bad" deeds, just actions that meet or help meet a certain goal.
