Simple. Paintings were made, and pigments (especially the organic pigments they used then) fade over time, and exposure to light.
Seeings as people would have looked at these pictures of jesus... the pigments would naturally have faded.
That, and, white people would rather worship a white messiah.

White people just look better.

Religion played a valuble role in creating our society, it was needed thousands of years ago untill recently.Now though it is not needed and it is extremly hard to get rid of which is why Mr.Bin Laden wants to blow us all up.

Anyone in the west that still beleives in religion is week minded, we are a new breed of people so stand tall, join the army and go kick the shit out of the week.

Anyway on a different note. If I don't believe in God, I go to hell right? But the weird thing is.. you could kill 201 people, then the day before you die you go all like: Ow god, I am sooo sorry, I really repent my sins, please forgive, o mighty one.. bla bla bla.. and they get to go to heaven right.

Now that in itself is weird, but also when you think that god created us in his image, it also means he wanted us to think for ourselves, have our own believes etc. That would mean that I would be free to think there is no God and he could therefor not condemn me to the firy pits of hell because I don't he exists..

Yes, because having sex while married is considered lawful and good. It is also thought that by reproducing you are doing God's work. To be married and not have sex would be wrong. But, since it all was some sort of lame-assed joke, apparently, I'm going to stop debating it. It doesn't matter anyway.
