I am 20, legal drinking age is 16 (beer and stuff) 18 for vodka and that kind of stuff. I don't drink at all, for the simple reason that I don't like it. And I probably won't like it anytime soon. Tho I'll never say I will never ever drink, I can say that I will never ever get drunk. I am still of the opinion that people in this game who get on and then brag about how drunk they were and how awesome it was to be drunk and how they don't remember and puked and how often they drink and how much they can drink, that they are complete morons because there is nothing cool about it.

There are plenty of people who drink at an underage age tho, I remember when I was like 15, people of 14/15 in my class were constantly talking about how they could get liquor at parties and who would get it for them and stuff. Tho the underage drinking here, as far as I know, is mainly restricted when it comes to parties and stuff.

is alcohol poisoning pretty much just when you have to go to the hospital to get your stomach pumped? because thats fucking intense hydride.

When alcohol levels in the blood are elevated so much that normal bodily functions, like breathing, orientation, etc stop to work properly.

I have been drinking since I was 17, but I hardly ever went over the line where I'd blackout.
Once, with a friend, we played some song few times and in that 7 minutes drank a whole bottle of whiskey, which lead to him being so sick he had to get his stomach pumped. I only remember going out of that appartment, I have no idea how I got home, and in the morning my friend told me she had never seen anyone vomit and laugh at the same time before.
I tried drinking 70% pure lab-alcohol at the uni with buddies on one drunk occasion. Tasted like shit.

It depends alot on how you drink tho, ie, here in Sweden they just like to down it all and then go out clubbing and they just get smashed. I had several swedish friends sit it out with us on our drinking parties where we start at about 8pm in slower pace, and finish around 5am. The thing is that the table is full with snack-size food (tasty, special kinds of meat, cheese, etc), and there is alot of to eat, so you can drink more if you chew on stuff. Without food, you'd be drunk after half of bottle, and with food you can drink longer and drink more, and it doesn't hit you as hard.
Nowdays I like to drink a glas of red wine daily, and whiskey+quality beer when I go out.

I had a bottle of that stuff at my home, herbal one, it tasted worse than shit. In our 6 months of drinking (basically once a week) we'd only drink that stuff if we ran out of everything else. After 6 months I still had half of bottle of that shit :fear:

I was running around in Berlin cause I couldn't find the way back to the strip club, when suddenly my friend was carrying one of the girls, she was drooling weird shit out of her mouth, and behind them my friend was wasted and jumping around singing a song.

Then he comes to me and screams, "I think she got rabies!" then both of us starts to laugh so hard that we roll around on the street.

Then we find the way back to the strip club, and my friend dissappears and I sit down and drink, and theres 2 drunk german boys whos passed out on the same table. Then a girl comes and sits on my laps, and ask where I'm from, then I answer "Norway". And she says "you norwegian guys are so much cooler than our guys", and looks at the 2 whos passed out, then she passes out after a while too.

Then I forgot what happened, I think I was inside a bordell later that night, but ran out. And I think another friend of mine passed out, and she stopped breathing, and we freaked out and did some weird shit.

Was fun.

Think I was a little bored, I'm gonna go make some breakfast.

Oh, and to the main point, I see little 13 year olds drink these days, it's really sad.

24 now and i'm starting to go to different places aimed at a bit older crowds. Seems to be a gap for mid twenties, don't want to be surrounded by 17 year olds or 35 year olds but no place i've found is for the 23-27's hmmmm

I started drinking when I was 13 (the first time, then maybe once a month..). 13 is about "The Starting Drinking Age" in Finland. Nowadays (turning 20 in 3 days), I drink more than ever really. Atleast 2 times a week. Within my group of friends (we're all basically lazy), it's more of a hobby to get drunk.

My question to this psot, is what is your drink of choice?

A good wine with dinner, my favorite is a Pinot Noir or Blanc a pint of Stoudt, Porter, Barley Wine, Ale...... depending on the meal.

As for Liquor....I prefer and only drink Tequila (Blue Agave preference).

Am pst the age of drinking to get drunk, yet will drink to compliment a gathering and or meal.
