Although we are probably born with predispositions, humans can also make decisions. Although brain chemistry and the way the brain might be 'wired' can heavy influence are we think, our sexuality can change with age. However, 'who we are' is probably less controllable than how we act. I do not care what anyone's sexual preferences are...no matter what it is, I would rather not see and hear about it, thanks very much.

As for the bible discussion, come on down to the bible belt and live amongst people who think that anyone who has not been 'saved' is going to hell. I don’t know about other people's God, but the one I look towards did not place 95% of the people on earth only to send them to hell. I believe there is a God, but I don't believe that to truly believe you must sit with other believers one day a week for two hours. I also think we must respect the other guy's religion, but only in the same sense and to the extent that we respect his perspective that his wife is beautiful and his children are geniuses.

I don't believe murderers, or criminals in general are born like that. (except maybe the really twisted ones). I do think pedophiles are. But the reason we make that illegal is to protect the kids. Kids cannot make the choice when it comes to sex with some 50 year old dude. And it will leave them with a traumatic expierence. With gay people, dating, sex, etc, no matter how disgusting you find it, is just like straight people. They chose to date and what not. Some 10 year old kid can't make this choice when some 50 year old dude comes by.

The fact that you're claiming gay people become gay for attention is interesting. Having sex with a dude every day is something that I would not be willing to do for any reasonable amount of money. Even if billions of dollars were on the table, I don't think I could get it up. Basically, if other dudes want to have sex with each other, fine, but doing it myself would be the worst thing ever. The fact that you think someone would be willing to do it not even for money, but for "attention" must mean that you aren't as adverse to gay sex as I am, because I can't even begin to imagine doing that for attention.

Then, you turn around and claim that it's so disgusting to you that the fact that they do it behind closed doors, where you never have to see it or think about it, is tantamount to murdering someone or being a "pedofile." When I see a gay couple I don't think about the details of their sexual relations, just like I don't when I see two fat people. Why would I want to think about that? Apparently the difference between us is that you can't look at gay people without visualizing them having sex, whereas I can.
