i missed the last half of the episode, friends came over right after Apollo's date with Dee

I looked up what else happened on the episode and I can't believe she did that. Was it just to show how mentally unstable she was? Or just to piss viewers off? I mean it's the final couple of episodes so anyone can die I know, but dammit

and what's with starbuck? how did the final five make it off earth? its so confusing

ahh yes, the final episodes air with perfect timing, right before in real life Extraterrestrial disclosure occurs. The producers have good timing.

Even the old Battlestar doesn't explore that aspect of Sci-fi, that's the point of the series both old and new. It's dramatically different from traditional science fiction. That only reference to aliens in the 1960 series is that the cylons were created by some reptilian race which died out (re-imaged they were created by humanity), never shown explored or mentioned expect only once.

You forgot about the insectoid species that the cylons allied with in the pilot episode .. the series was 1978 not 1960

I found this blog that explains some of the unexplained parts of the series complete with diagrams and I'm sure power points, haven't looked hard enough yet. There's a lot to be explained without going too new-agey or supernatural in a seemingly natural-physical world. Some of it is pre-Episode 11 so some conclusions might be off.
