I think you lost all credibility when you said that after one drink i'd be noticably different.

Yet it is a fact, any police agency which researches into drinking and its effects will verify it. Though you may not even close to passing out, but your speech will begin to deteriorate along with your mental reasoning and reflexes. Though the change is not horrific, it is "noticeable" and could be the difference in a major car wreck when reflexes are key. Having one drink probably won't have you driving on the wrong side of the road, but it may keep you from being able to react as soon as if you were absolutely sober, thus increasing your risks while driving.

As well Nickname, the Creation would easily be passed down accurately over the years as Adam would have been alive long enough to know Noah's father. Whenever you have the first human in all creation alive this long, you gain credibility as that person is able to first hand pass on everything to thousands of people. Accuracy is preserved because of this, and if on average the woman lived longer than the man, then its possible that Eve would have been able to tell first hand to Noah, thus increasing the credibility even more. Whenever it got down to Moses writing the Bible, the history would have been easily remembered, but Moses writes Genesis in a way that he saw it first hand. God spoke to Moses and told him what to write, as God literally spoke the Bible into its existence.

Blueblaze... according to your sweet ass logic, you have an alcohol problem; do you participate in the Eucharistic sacrament? Depending on your exact branch of Christianity, it goes through a divine transformation or just symbolizes it... but that doesnt mean it is alcohol free. so im sorry my friend... if thats the case you are in the same boat as the rest of us. now we can all sit, hold hand, and sing styx songs until the universe implodes in a rush of "logic"

wow you must be the biggest lightweight if you start to slur ur words after 1drink lol. my effin girlfriend can handle 1drink without it being noticeable. Im not goin to lie, ive drank and droven at the same time. I was under the limit though, cause i have my full G license. So when i went to bars and id have 1 drink, i would be fine. seriously 1 beer does nothing to you...even 2 like come on, it gets you loosened up. 1doesnt do anything though, really. unless you are 8years old and weigh 67lbs.

I was going to post here telling him not to do it, but the truth of the matter is in every thread, there is someone ELSE who brings up his religion, so I don't really see how I can fault him for responding. Please, please, please don't quote anything Blueblaze says and use any of the following words: God, religion, Jesus, Christian, etc.

Chao, I would not worry too much unless you think it's a real problem. A lot of people I knew including myself had parties when we were 15-16 and got drunk. As long as your sister knows about not going too far, not getting sexually taken advantaged of while drunk and not driving while drunk, there's no problem. Just have a chat with her.

My parents started making me drink when I was 10, so that when I grew up, it really wouldn't be a big deal to drink. And you know what? I enjoy getting drunk from time to time, but really it's not a big deal at all to me, unlike some people I knew while living in residence in first year university.

And contrary to popular belief, my friends and I who drank at such a young age... we're all doing quite well for ourselves right now.

My parents started making me drink when I was 10, so that when I grew up, it really wouldn't be a big deal to drink. And you know what? I enjoy getting drunk from time to time, but really it's not a big deal at all to me, unlike some people I knew while living in residence in first year university.

Not that bad of an idea, though I wouldn't want my parents to exactly force me to drink. I like this approach simply because you can feel the effects and get to know your limits in a safe enviroment, where there is less chance for you to be in a dangerous situation.
I sorta wished that my parents would of let me at least touched alcohol before i got into university. With all that sudden amount of freedom, I didn't know "how" to drink, and sometimes it lead me to not-so-good situations. Luckily, the friends I made in university were good enough to take care of me.
Though I am not advocating that your sister should get smashed before she goes off to fend for herself, it's good to at least let her experience it before there is no-one there to tell her what she can or can't do, and hope that her friends are good enough of friends to look after her.

2-4 times a week? thats just stupid and a good waste of money. Try limiting it to just Fri/Sat at most..usually 1 good night is perfect but dont just drink with friends at a park or in ur house..thats no fun. what a waste of beer

Well, problem solved I guess. Talked to her this afternoon and she said it's been about a year since she drank before that and it was hardly any at all then. She said she didn't really like it and doesn't want to do it again. I think she sort of got pushed into it by her friends.
