You can claim "There is no God" as much as you like, but the truth is, your heart tells you "I want no God." If you died tonight, what assurance do you have in the afterlife, try to cash that check of atheism when you stand before Christ on the throne.

You say atheists don't beleive there is no god, but just don't want one to exist, and what assurance do we have in the afterlife? That's just fucking stupid and have nothing to back up your first claim. And for the afterlife, what assurance do you have? There are 33 thousand christain denominations, is sure hope u pick the right one, and if any of them were to be right it would be the Westboro Baptist church because they actually follow the bible word for word and don't cherry pick what they like and don't like. Also atheists don't need to worry about the after life because we don't beleive in one you fucking idiot so stop with your pointless scare tactics that don't work.

If your life does not obey those two principles, then there is a problem with your heart to God, which you must confess to God immediately. Obey not this world, but obey the God which created all things. Don't compromise on the Scripture, and don't compromise with the world.

I'm not worried about your typing or grammar as I am by why you needed to argue with him. For one thing, this is his farewell thread, so he's supposedly leaving, for another thing, Facetious banned him.

Most importantly, when he was around and not banned, it wasn't really worth it to argue with him anyway.

Not that I like to start a religious or 'God Thread' very often, but if not in general discussion, where? Should spiritual people or the spiritually inquisitive start a thread in useless crap just because of the sensitivity of those offended by God talk?

Well, it's like the old saying goes---it's not what you say, but how you say it.

There's a difference between starting a thread to discuss various philosophical perspectives on religion and trolling for attention and trying to convert people. Not to mention all the copy and pasting, and the verbose and unintelligible diatribes.

There have been other people who have started religious discussions in this subforum and not had their threads moved, so it's not the subject matter. It was just his style of communication that was not appreciated.

The irony is that I'm finally willing to discuss religion. Does anyone know what the context of this passage is? Because it basically sums up the things I dislike about organized religion.

You find similarities to the Holy Qur'an and the Holy Bible with the separations between "The House of Peace" (Dar Al Islam) and "The House of War" (Dar Al Harb). The House of Peace is a group where everyone is under Islam and at peace with one another. The surrounding countries, cities, etc* which do not follow Islam are not one with Islam so they are not of peace, but of war. And it is where you get the "Jihad" from. Basically meaning if you're not with us, you're against us. While Christianity wishes to deny that, you can't deny the written fact as Legionnaire Blueblaze stated.

Just another side note to Jihadism. I dunno if that's a word, but I'm making it so. Most Muslim Extremists, if you asked them what the "Greater Jihad" was, they would say it would be to convert Dar Al Harb to Dar Al Islam. But, as stated in the Holy Qur'an, the "Greater Jihad" is a Jihad within your self to fight your inner demons and impurities and basically be the best worshiper you can be to Allah.

I dunno how I got into that, I guess it was just Blueblaze's flagrant misuse of the Holy Bible that got me going.
