Homeschooling? Are you fucking kidding me.. Instead of letting your daughter receive enjoyable experience out of studies by communicating with her peers and meeting new people, you lock her up at home in fear that she might learn something inappropriate for her age (such as sex education ). Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I understood by reading the majority of her posts. Give me a fucking break man. Your daughter might grow to be socially challenged and you will live to regret it. Let it be a natural way of learning, in a regular environment along with her peers, instead of giving her a book and sticking her nose into it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not preaching and I don't care one bit what happens to your daughter. Oh, and this reminded me of one of George Carlin's videos (fuck the children) where he makes fun of overprotective parents

Didn't read the whole topic, excuse me!
But who is teaching your kids HS, you or your wife? And how old is your daughter now, 13-14 years old??
Isn't it expensive, you or your wife has a job but the other one doesn't and then you have to feed your child.
I'm not really into this home schooling stuff cause really you need school to develop your social abilities.

i think our sex ed started in 7th grade or so. but didnt get into any real detail till later.
then in 8th grade, the girls and guys were split up and asked whatever questions they wanted by writing them on pieces of paper. all passed them to the front, and then they were read and answered by the teacher. i still remember that with hilarity. one of the best "does a rubber band and a plastic bag work just as well?" on top of others.
i dont know where i was goin with this or what it had to do wiht the topic
congrats on the high test scores. i think epi had the right idea with how the standardized tests work or something.

Social skills develope by being social. She gets that & she'll get more as she gets older and ventures out more & further from home.

My sex education really was a joke. In health class, we learned about the reproductive systems.
In our sex ed class, we learned about avoiding drugs and alcohol because they can ruin your body. We learned about avoiding risks that can hurt us.
The sad thing is, I'm not even kidding.
We take "sex ed" in 8th grade and 9th grade. Both times it's a complete joke where they just say "Don't have sex. Condoms fail 100% of the time. Now to the bigger issue - alcohol damages your liver!"
We never actually learned about sex.Pandagirl!
