i used to play this game on macs a long time ago where there were these tanks that were triangles and everything in the game was drawn via wire skeleton

i don't think anyone mentioned interstate '76 for the pc. christ almighty, i was obsessed with that game. i remember how you could hack the living crap out of it just by editing some simple text files. i'd always give myself a jeep with HUGE wheels and crazy kickass guns/weapons. such a sweet game!

i forgot the name of a very old game, someone help me. you fought with the roman army against others, the whole game was basically a yellow? not scrollable europe map. you could buy boats and those boat would have different weapons like a weapon that shoots a whole tree. i think, or i am mixing 2 games here.

Yes the slow movement speed was annoying but I dont remember being annoyed with it at the time. The fog of war was extremely important in the original and it was insan what 30-40 summoned scorpians or spiders could do. Not to mention how over powered the water elemental and demon were. Still it was the perfect template for fantasy RTS's.

I played 3-4 of the King and Space Quest games. The games by nature were slow and not very memorable. A few moments remain with me, such as running your 2 pixel butt off for 5 minutes to escape a pissed off witch.

Has anyone played Wizardry 5 (Knight of Diamonds or something) on the original nintendo? The only way to save the game was to return to the city above the dungeon and power off there. If you died in the dungeon your players and equipment were basicallly lost. That game took me 8 years to pass because you would wander around forever in a maze and one mistake would wipe out all your work. I finally passed it when our family got access to the internet and I downloaded maps for each level. After 8 years of that game mocking me I was able to start fresh and pass it in a few days all thanks to the internet. And boy did the ending to that game suck!

OMGG F-19 was AWESOME. I want the soundtrack! I've been trying to find that game for ages!!!!

Lost vikings I had completely forgotten about, I used to play that at a friends house on a really weird disc, like cd-rom format but twice the size and really "sloppy"

Syndicate wars was hard as hell, even when cheating I couldn't complete it
