Kinda sad when threads denoted "useless crap" get more hits and replies than any of the other serious posts or ones where people should talk about emotional things with players like the ability to pop lock and drop it or whatever. Perhaps these forums should re-evaluate what useless crap means and stick this in a new section in TW forums that I would like to call "Quicksand Chat". Basically this would replace shit talking, but only shit talking threads that meet and or exceed Quicksands tough judging guidelines would be able to be entered into this prestigious section of the forums.

I'm not gonna lie, I came to see that avatar shake her ass. You are limited, it's everything from your one-sided views to your childish fights with staff. I almost think as though you have actually lost a couple years of maturity in the past two years. I remember a time when you were more reasonable, less judgmental and above all else less confrontational. I think I finally understand your personality, or at the very least the type of personality you display on these forums and on Continuum, that is if you treat this forum and game like an RPG. You're an attention whore, which never was a huge issue while you were on staff because you seeked the approval of general population, you wanted to be remembered as one of the best <ER>'s to ever grace this game. Once you left staff and people forgot Wark you picked up this cocky asshole personality because if you can't get people's attention by doing things like hosting events you'll do it by causing turmoil inside a game server.

The truth is in, being an e-rebel gets you dick all, call Annux and see if he's happy that he caused grief in a game that is suppose to be about fun and enjoyment. Do you actually believe that if and when you want to have a serious conversation someone will actually take you serious? What if you have a legitimate concern, I look at you and see the "little bitch who cried wolf too many times" and from the general responses in this thread so do many other people. One day you might realize that all you've done in this long and tedious process is cut down on your own personal fun and enjoyment.

He tried the serious route (as serious as he could get) a few months back via a topic about getting back on staff in the main TW part of the forum. People (especially staff) didn't take him seriously and knew he was just going to stir up shit eventually. A shame he can't do any good with that useless ego of his blocking his way to helping the zone.

oh well i guess no more talk about negging and racism. i thought the topic deserved some debate but i guess it was all just a guise for this guy to stir up shit like yall said. sorry i played the devil's advocate on this one since he doesn't give a shit about the topic, just arguing in general (my favorite passtime).

A few things.

1. Yes we all know Wark intentionally pushes the envelope in regards to any rule that he can cause a stir over. And yes, we all know he will never win over a technicality because contrary to appearance, staff is not composed of a completely logical machine but instead of real people.

3. In light of points 1 and 2, I can't understand why anyone who believes Wark just wants attention (which is everyone am I right?) would post in this thread. This is the irony that Wark points out. If you really thought he felt like he needed the attention and wanted to help him, you simply wouldn't post.

4. It has been well established that the major purpose of Quicksand is simply to stir up controversy, so I don't see how this situation is any different. It just makes me laugh to see everyone who loves to hate the squad come drooling, mouth wide open, whenever Wark, Racka, and Izor come up with a new (or even old) way of stirring up controversy. Do you not see it?

5. After establishing the facts above, the only reason I can conceive that would drive any of you who hates Quicksand to post in this thread is to hear yourself talk, which in itself is either a based off of a need for attention (irony?) or a need to feel like you belong to the more popular group (those who hate Quicksand). How are either of those lines of reasoning mature?

You have some good points Foreign but that is only partially true. The fact is that people are stupid, and I am smarter than everyone else basically. Everyone sees one thing that I do and makes judgements based on that, but nobody can see the big picture of what I have accomplished and what I am accomplishing not only for myself and my squad, but the zone as well. Say you start a squad with a group of largely unknown players, I was known for staff if not really for warbirding, Izor was still not considered good, Racka, etc etc etc. Is there any better way in Trenchwars to get someones name our, or a squad name our than causing so much shit that nobody can help but to know your name, or your squads name? I doubt it. As for helping the zone.. everyone complains whines and talks shit about Quicksand except for the select few that just find what we do funny. But at the same time we draw huge turnouts for pretty much anything we do as a team, TWL, TWD, events, forums, hell even if we are talking shit to another squad in an arena people will come flooding in to watch us talk shit to them. That is why most people on our roster are well known names now even besides our skill in warbirds. Besides as I have said before, every game needs a group of people to hate. Maybe I am wrong for thinking this, but I am much happier knowing that I am known on this game for something more than being the guy that posts funny pictures on forums, or the guy on the forums that doesn't even play the game but still talks on the forums alot for no apparent reason. In the end, look at the power that Quicksand wields from being how we are, how many people have we gotten banned, staffers axed, squads dissolved, players beaten down before finally begging us to join or simply giving up and lying down in defeat. Just incase there is any confusion, being an attention whore is partly the reason I post shit talking on the forums, but mainly it is just for personal entertainment. The forums are so boring whenever there isn't a shitstorm going on, I don't want to read posts about someone going to Sweden, or best music for the month, I want to read stuff like this.
