This is a light and humorous read but nonetheless still manages to systematically prove the unlikliness of God. He dedicates some chapters to this very reason, another couple of chapters on where we get our morality, some other chapters on the bible and it's monstrousities and one on religious children. "...entertaining, wildly informative, splendidly written...we are elegantly cojoled, cleverly harangued into shedding ourselves of this superstitious nonsense that has bedeveilled us since our first visit to Sunday school" - Ron Liddle, Sunday Times.
It's an amazing insight into the debate and is very, very compelling. It won the Galaxy Book Award and consequently got Richard Dawkins the Author of the Year in 2007.
I can also recommend 'Unweaving the Rainbow' by Dawkins and 'The Selfish Gene' by Dawkins if you would like something a little more tasking to read.
