Only one of the above can be right. Of course you will say it's god, but are you implying millions of people, for example muslims, are simply wrong?

And. Did you ever had a discussion about the above question with, for example, a muslim? What was the outcome?

As a returning faviour I think you're misinterpretating a 2000 year old story. The whole point is to be good. Love, dont steal, etc, etc. Oh. And don't live in towns with 20.000 inhabitans and only 5 different surnames. But as long as you don't harm others, believe whatever you want.

Moses just wrote the first five books called the Torah in Jewish tradition and the Pentateuch in Christian tradition.

(A) I see you omitted the concept of the word THEIR.
(B.) There is only One God... Allah is a god. Not the same. The two do not jive for them to be inspired by the same God.
(C) Not indepth.. Muslims are not of the "Lost Sheep" they're not part of 'my calling'.

I personally, silly me, think it's quite, quite a coinsidence that all religions more or less started at the same time and all point out to onee thing (love, dont steal, etc). The 'dialect' (god, allah) has changed in the many years.
That is the interesting part. How did that happen? What happend? (not to sound like Tone, but fucking pyramids where build, maya's knew the universe, underground caves where build (to hide from?) and etc, etc.) I think something has happend what has been whiped of our history book. Mostlikely not as dramatic as a Tone story, but something made people believe in something bigger than themselves. A 'god'. As people moved to different parts (or it was a global thing) the dialect made it God or Allah or Prince charles for my part.

Just imagen what the thought process was, back 2000 years.

With all this wisdom said, i find it safe to say that the IDEA of the bible is what counts. I guess 'our' bible, anno 2007 would be the 'law'. In a sence.

The Muslim religion was born in 610 AD. when Muhammad was 40 years old.
The Arab people are the offspring of Ishmael, Abraham's son through his wife's Egyptian maid Hagar. During her pregnancy, God said to her, "He will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be against everyone and everyone’s hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers." (Genesis 16:12) Later, God says to Abraham: "Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation. But my covenant will I establish with Isaac.." (Gen.17:20-21)

Allah was the name that had been given to the moon god, many centuries before Muhammad's time. Before Muhammad was a Prophet, he was a trader who had many exchanges with Jews & Christians. His wife had a Christian cousin who was well versed in the Torah & the Gospels that he liked to listen to her tell the stories. He was always asking questions about them and discussing the concepts & principles and eventually got the reputation as a 'holy' or pius man.

His belief at the time was a pagan belief called Tahannuth. While practicing that belief's time of fasting & prayer in a cave, he had the vision of being visited by the angel Gabriel. It was more like a dream of 'sleep paralysis' and afterwards he thought he was possessed by the devil. The angel kept telling him to "read" but he was illiterate. He told his wife about it, who told her cousin, who said, "If this is true, your husband is a prophet." Later, he began to drift into a depression and went to a mountian to commit suicide. There he saw a vision of Gabriel who told him, "You are Allah's prophet."

After about 12 years speaking to people about his vision and winning converts, while spending the night at a relative's house, he had a OBE (out of body experience) where he got on a white horse with Gabriel and traveled the 7 levels of heaven, meeting various (O.T.) prophets on each level including Abraham & Allah on the 7th. The next morning, he told his relatives about his experience and that he had journeyed to the temple to pray. They told him not to tell anyone about the praying in the temple part (the Jew's temple was destroyed in 70 AD), because everyone would ridicule him knowing he's lying. He didn't take the advice and told everyone and they all laughed at him. It took the wisdom and reputation of his close friend to silence the crowd and convince them the story was true. Otherwise that religion would have died right then and there.

There's still loons in the name of religion & ignorance today. e.g. The South Park episode summarizing the Mormon religion. Less than an hour's drive north of here, there's a nice looking building on a big piece of property owned by "The Flat Earth Society"
