before you do anything, ignore soul survivors post COMPLETELY. 1200 to 1500 calories will KILL YOU HONESTLY.

with that said; i have no idea what you want to do. i recently started with something new so i would stay in shape and get lean and replace my fat with muscles. im fit, i can run 10 km without getting tired and i can do 50 push-ups with no problem anyway here's the thing i started yesterday:

^ to put it short. its 4 times a week, no running 5 sets 5 repetitions of stuff that has alot of muscles included, ie. squats, bench-press, deadlift. it has alot of good tips/pointers about eating as well which is very important.

that and twice a week i do a thing for my abs because they are you know important.

ps. i also don't run in elim

My father in law was telling me over Thanksgiving about this amazing bartender at some bar he frequented who could shake a martini and fill it to the rim with no leftovers and he thought it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen. I then proceeded to his home bar and made four martinis in one shaker with unfamiliar glassware and a non standard shaker and did the same thing. From that moment forward I knew he had no compunction about my cock ever being in his daughter's mouth.

ok so i was in the navy, which is not the marines, but it is the military nonetheless

let me put it this way, part of me wants to believe geio is just a complete moron and that he really doesn't know, but the other part kinda deep down knows hes just full of shit

in the military they have things called PT (physical training) which you do even outside of bootcamp... every other day you do a good two hours of sit ups push ups running pull ups and other activities which help to build muscle and generally keep you in shape

one thing i never really got "instructed" upon was lifting weights however, so maybe he is telling the truth? but any person in the military could have just asked a buddy or another person in the division what a good weightlifting routine would be. I'm willing to bet a lot of money that at least one of them knows what they're doing.

but if geio got kicked out at bootcamp like im thinking, then maybe he really doesn't know, because bootcamp is just about pushups and situps... oh and marching and running

I don't really have a diet, I just eat what I want and usually in large amounts. I do however avoid fast foods and pop at all costs. But the bottom line is to just work out everyday, simple as that. At first it is very hard to get a non worked body use to working out again. Getting over the aches and pains for the first couple weeks is most peoples biggest hurtle. Once you do however get in the routine of being active and working out every day you will find that if you don't work out you feel lost and have to pull doubles the next day or train harder to make up for it.

As far as workout plans go, there are millions to choose from and it all depends on what you are looking for. Weight loss running is long steady distances usually well over 2 miles. Cardio endurance running is shorter burst style running involveing full sprints to jogs, to sprints to jogs, to sprints to jogs, I usually do those on a track half lap spring half lap jog for 2 miles or so.

I also do 5 min rounds of simulation punches, knees, kicks, laps, shadow boxing, and more in swimming pools. Pools are a intense place to get cradio from it makes your muscles work 10 times harder and really can boost your cardio endurance. I usually start with 8, 5 min rounds in the pool then step it up day by day to 12, hold at 12 and take the last 2 days off before a fight.

Strength workouts and lifting weights , I tend to not do much lifting conventional weights, maybe a day a week b/c I think other techniques are much more benificial for full body work outs. I prefer to be outside useing nature and getting dirty. I take cinder blocks and upwards toss them over a 14foot high 2x4 running back and forth toss/lift/toss/lift in 5 min rounds. From there I switch to flipping a normal sized tire accross the yard back and forth as many lenghts as I can get in another 5 min round. Then I use a 20lb sludge hammer and swing continuously at that tire for the next 5mins. Then I load a wheel barrell up with cinder blocks run the barrell up the near by hill dump it, load it back up again then walk it down the hill dump it load it back up again then back up the hill, for another 5 mins. If you have partners training with you we also have them jump on our back and run them up and down the hill for 5mins. After doing 3 rounds of each of these so all those work outs 3 times! we then move onto the big tire.. This tire weighs well over 600 pounds so we double up on it two at a time counting off for the lift, and we will flip that back forth accross the parking lot as many times as possible.

There is tons more exercises we do outside the key is to just be creative and keep yourself interested and trying to improve, you lose interest you lose your gains. Gotta stay active.

i have been in the army and they never told us about routines in the gym. it had alot of info about eating, stretching and the general squat, push-up, pull-up, sit-ups and back-thingies though.

if you are going to continue on push-ups i would recommend different types of them, like holding your hands wide or as close as possible when you do one, you should also buy a weight-vest or whatever they are called.

edit read your last post, nevermind dunno really about shakes
