paradise, not everyone can or wants to be a private practice doctor, astronaut, or Jim Jones. therefore, the best career for someone should be dealt with individually. if you love working at a convenience store who's to say that you should fuck off. if you're making enough cash to get by and you're happy with it then fuck everyone else. it's not your conceitedness that you should be worried about bruh, maybe learn a lesson or two in humility from all of your starvin' cousins.

I wish I was as good as LB in animating and I could do it for my job IF I really loved doing it. Most satisfaction comes out of doing what you love, not getting up and being: argh, I have to go to work again.. A well, gotta make the money.

Aside from a very select few people, you do not make big money UNTIL you have worked your butt off for a good amount of years. Most people you see making big money and having tons of free time (as it would appear, because it is still a shitload of work) are 55 years old and have worked their arses off their whole life to get there. They have had to sacrifice family life to earn lots of money.

But hey para, have fun knowing it all, too bad I don't actually know you so I cant see you fail horribly in all your plans. And would you by some fluke actually succeed, ill be keeping an eye out on MTV to see those spoiled little fucks you will spawn with a wife who has had so much plastic surgery she cant even smile anymore.

See you are the kind of person i don't like. I plan to live a happy life where i can provide my future children with whatever they need. But i define success by being able to provide when they need it most. I plan to make the most money i can in my life for 2 reasons. 1) I want to absolutely spoil my parents for what they have provided me with so far, we aren't exactly a middle class family but we are ok. 2) Many of parents' brother and sisters are starving overseas, we can barely afford to feed them, and some of my Aunt's kids have died simply because we could not afford an operation for them. This is what i plan to eliminate completely. This is what makes money so damn important, yes you can laugh all you want, but my life will be rich in family and wealth.

quit counting your chickens before they hatch. You won't make 6 figures in any job unless you work at it for a decade, toss a lot of salads, or ... no or just you won't.

why do ppl still think they need to make 2x-4x the nat'l average salary to be happy?

I doubt that, i now that if you choose the right career, such as a Doctor in private practice, you can make 4x-6x the national average. Of course it is unlikely if you go to a local "accredited" community art college to make anywhere around more than the average. It's simple logic. If you want to make more money, you simply choose the better career,

example1: you become a lawyer rather than a ceramics studies major. example2: you don't major in web design, instead you go to Med School(yea boi!!)
example 3: you don't go to Iowa University and major in "theology". Oh, well unless you have intentions of touching little boys (enter squeezer).

it is simple ladies and gents, i just used myself as an example before. I am deeply, deeply sorry if i sounded conceited. Well even if i did i have good reason to. Ha. there's just this great big bandwagon against people who want to live a truly happy life for themselves/family, their parents, and their relatives. And i personally believe that through material wealth all this will be achieved, coupled with true happiness ofc. Now, what is wrong with saying that being a Computer Animator was a bad career choice? Maybe a little too blunt? Ahh yes that's it.
