We have lower taxes on goods and services, contribute less to SS, and pay less in total tax revenues by percentage of GDP than any other country in the G8.

We just rely on income taxes more than other countries. On the whole we're still taxed less, so come up with a different argument.

I don't have to come up with another argument, you tax a business, the business isn't going to pay for it, they are going to get that money back somehow, whether it is canceling matching on 401k or not offering health insurance. Companies are in business to make money, so if they have had an extra million a year taxed by the government they are going to cut costs a million a year. Thats the way things are, which is why the government shouldn't interfere in it.

Simply put, we spend roughly as much as the rest of the world on our military, and that excludes spending on things like the VA. Of course, that money is well-spent because every one of our warfighters is set up for success in the battlefield with the equipment that they have available to them. I'm sure that in the world of you crybaby pussies, we would almost eliminate our DoD spending to go to programs like welfare and socialized healthcare, which really could make those systems pretty effective with the type of money youre talking about, but then we're no better off than europe with our military, which is what has made our country great in the first place.

Well thank you for understanding what I've been saying all along...theres ridiculous spending in the DoD because government runs it and they dont necessarily have ethics when it comes to shelling out money. Would be the same thing with healthcare and any other program the government runs.
