Virginia is 50/50 right now, Florida going to Obama, Colorado going to Obama, Hawaii should be Obama (I mean he was born there, so.. )

according to CNN McCain is way up in Arizona.

So far Barack has taken New Mexcio, Ohio and Iowa from the Republicans and McCain hasn't taken anything from the democrats.

What's important is to win states you're not predicted to win. The overall vote is important but democrats always win 'certain' states just the same way the republicans win 'certain states'. This election is going to be decided by a few key states.

I'm just saying... for how Obama led in the polls, and how the media was thrashing McCain and how he ran a bad campaign, it's important to note that 49% of people are still voting McCain. The polls, which were based on total votes instead of electoral votes were very far off the mark. Of course the west coast has yet to be counted, so those will heavily skew Obama once they are counted.

The final projections only had Obama with 52% to McCain's 46%. With only around half the country in so far, I don't see how you can say polls were "very far off the mark." Popular vote is always fairly close.
