i'm just a bitter, somewhat older guy, who is getting really tired of the continuing trend toward lackadaisical idiocy. i'm guilty of it myself, but not nearly as much as what i suppose i would call "the current generation." we all continue to type in shorter and choppier bits of text, dropping pronouns left and right. spelling... don't even get me started. we, as a society, are willfully dumbing ourselves down. it gets under my skin just a little.

connection is the in-game bang op. how that has anything to do with these forums is beyond me. he should not be involved with their administration whatsoever.

you called for new forum moderators. you were very adamant that we would be given room to do our thing. we were told we could bring new ideas to you. we were led to believe we could actually get some shit done around here. since being hired, we've been nothing but puppets. you pull our strings and we dance. well, the dance is over. you dicked around for well over a week trying to fix sigs, and then after you couldn't figure out how to hack up a little code (seriously it's not impossible and you act like anything that can't be done within 5 minutes via the admin control panel is just too much to handle), you put things back exactly the way they were. wtf? please, be more useless, if that is even possible.

This has the potential to be as interesting as the Sarien fiasco (why I started reading the forums consistently).

I don't understand why people won't just type in English. Most of the time, I just think "that person is an idiot" (unless there is a witty reference or something) and just add the name to the list of posts that get skimmed.

However, stupidity or attempts to troll have clearly been shown as not ban-able in the past. I understand that he was pushing moderator buttons as best he could but the ban won't teach him anything. He's just gonna come back after X days and be a smug douche again trying to find the next set of buttons to push.

The only time this non-English bs has ever got to the point of annoying is when I had to read the posts in the mafia thread.
