I realize his ex-wife doesn't hate him - she wants him back. (And this is besides the fact that she's driving a car that he bought, and living in a luxury apartment that he's paying for because of the divorce). She's the one who wanted the marriage in the first place and the one who kept trying to make it work after multiple affairs. He never loved her and never wanted the marriage, hence the affairs. He was never happy with her because she was never home and never depended on him - she was always off saving the world in Nigeria or Kenya or something. Like I said, the night he kissed her, she asked to sleep with him and he left the situation and called me right away. He feels really guilty about destroying their marriage and hurting her, but he knows if he stays with her that he'll just hurt her again.

No, I don't have little self worth. When I talked to him last night I gave him a piece of my mind and laid it out for him. Yes, I said that if he wanted another chance then he could have it. But I let him know that things won't be the same. If he truly wants another chance, he's going to have to sacrifice for it. I told him what has to change in the relationship, and if he can't handle it then it's done. He's very bad at compromising because he grew up basically homeless because both of his parents abandoned him - he was back and forth between Taiwan and the US and never had a home or someone to look after him. He got to where he was entirely on his own, so he's used to doing things his way. I told him that if he wants to continue with me, that has to change.
