my father bought a prius a few months back and i took it on a trip

pros: the mileage. you dont realize just how huge the gains are until you road trip. also it's pretty.... tech'd out. GPS, xm radio, touchscreen, rear camera etc
cons: it's a small-ass car, and maybe this is a small-ass car problem, but i blew out a tire on the interstate in my dad's prius driving over a rock that my pickup truck wouldn't think twice about.

i'd get a CRV unless you roadtrip alot

Its much more likely that the virgin Netherlander who likes watching mens wrestling turns out gay than the happily married husband with children.

I have a friend who has a 07 jetta and has all sorts of problems with it. I'm staying away from VWs for now.

I did talk to my pops last night, and he said I could just buy the Pilot off of him since tt's basically a new '11 EX-L. Another upside is that he'll let me pay him back whenever. Might be worth it since I only drive about 400-500 miles a month?

Maybe not right away, but in the next couple of years. Apparently every woman has an oven on a timer that's only optimal for baking bread for so long. Can always go for a new oven.

The younger the oven the better chance the cook is even also if you catch my drift.

You try baking something in an old oven and the chances that your gonna get burned increase.

Oh, and Pilots are sorta like CRV's I would go for that.

Had a Pilot for 3 years (Lease) and it is nothing like a CRV IMHO. The Pilot is a gas hog btw. If you make a good income, it shouldn't matter. Also, you will eventually have to purchase all new tires for a Pilot....damn expensive getting 4 P245/65R17 tires. I had to replace mine when my lease ended...totally sucked to put out the monies for the tires I would never use, but at least I replaced them with the shitty Good Years they came with.

The Pilot had to be one of the most comfortable cars I have driven, especially on highway rides. It has the most amazing turning radius for being in a truck class. The seats are great too, but the stock stereo cannot handle the Bass at all!!!! Replace that Honda radio if you can I couldn't due to my lease as noted.

Neighbor of mine has a CRV (2009) and it's ok, but it is just too small and over priced for what you get.

Currently I am leasing a RAV4. Not bad, less frills than the Pilot I had, but the mileage and savings in $ have been worth it. Same complaint as with most cares I have leased...the stereo systems suck!
May your shit come to life and kiss you on the face.

John Travolta is trying that excuse on everyone too.

Not saying I think you're closeted but you sure do say 'faggot' quite a bit so that is concerning.

But .. I also know you watch a lot of South Park.

Yeah gas savings don't amount to much for me because I don't drive very often. Did some calculations and if I drove 400 miles a month at 20mpg, that comes out to about $15 extra cost per month compared to my old toyota avalon that got around 25mpg. Not a lot there. I've hauled 8 people in there on a trip to ocean city once. That was really worth it!
