Banned for 3 MONTHS for doing NOTHING

Title says all. I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but tbh I don't fucking care. I've been banned from my favourite web game for 3 fucking months because some fucking loser with no real life and thinks he's OMGZOR TEH LEET because he's a mod on some 2D space game (aka tats)

Anyway, after talking to certain mods, I found out that I was banned for lagcheating, on my bro's account. My bro hardly ever plays this game, like, once a week, and just plays in pub. (Mr X and Kiamachi). Most of you probably haven't even fucking heard of him. But yes, he was lagcheating, energy hacking whatever. Right...

Let me say that my bro does NOT lagcheat, energyhack, or anything like that. He admits to having msn running at the same time, which really isn't a crime. However, in our house a connection is shared by 2 computers (and a laptop at the time) by a wireless router.

I would be ok with a week ban. A 2 week ban would be ok. BUT A FUCKING THREE MONTH BAN?! Wtf guys, do some of you mods have the IQ of a retarded pidgeon? WHY THE HELL WAS I BANNED FOR 3 MONTHS FOR DOING SOMETHING I HAVE NEVER DONE EVER?

Sorry, but I am EXTREMELY pissed off. Give me a 2 week ban. Sure, that's ok. But 3 months?

I've asked Rudy, he says he can't unban me because it says I was lagcheating. Well I don't. I don't even know how to fucking lagcheat. I've only ever seen someone do it once.

There's people that lag so much more than me ALL THE TIME who hardly ever get banned. Skatarius, anyone?

Unban me. Please.

Until then, you won't see me in baseelim, javs, javduel, or pub. Maybe in those 3 months I'll leave the game. So I might never see you guys again.

I don't usually weigh in on this kind of thread, but I have to say that there is a very good point here that should be addressed.

The point is that unless the 'lag cheat' determination can be made with a very high level of confidence, and that all other variables can be eliminated, banning someone for ‘lag cheat’ is wrong.
Consider this case where a wireless network is involved. I see no possible way that anyone could differentiate between lag introduced by retries by a site-related RF network issue and someone who is intentionally attempting to induce lag. For example, the wireless router/hub is sitting in a location that is normally acceptable in the house. Someone walks in with a case of soda or water and puts it on the shelf next to the router. The kid playing TW in his bedroom all of a sudden has ploss. How many people are going to figure out that RF isn’t going to pass through liquid? Yet the guy gets banned?

I just don’t see how anyone can determine a cheat INTENT with lag issues, unless TW can absolutely and 100% see programs and processes running on the client.
