Just some stuff you might wanna include on the website:
1) rosters
2) rules, include these pieces of info:
a) how many flags total (what is the answer to this in ?go warzone settings atm***)? are they movable (yes i assume)?
b) how many bases total?
c) how many pts per flag ding?
d) how much time btwn flag dings?
e) how many pts for a kill w/o any flags?
f) how many pts when i get a kill with 1 flag? (how to flags affect kill pts)
g) how does the bounty of the nme affect kill pts?
h) how long can i carry a flag before it drops?
i) can i carry multiple flags or only 1 at a time? <- what is the answer to this according to ?go warzone settings now?***
j) what happens when I TK my teammate who has flags? Are the flags now mine? Are they dropped? And if they are dropped are the my team's (yellow flag) or the nme's (blue flag)? <-- this is an important question***
3) ppl in charge (namely you + any ops, mods, ers, zhs helping)
4) link to trenchwars.org, forums.trenchwars.org
Also, are you going to allow team members who've misdropped flags to change freqs to reposition that misdropped flag? I don't think that should be allowed.
A few more other things you should think about. Ppl don't like their recs in the current ?go warzone resetted. So I'd suggest you upload the settings and map into a new arena like ?go wzl (warzone league) or ?go warzone2.
Do you plan on using a bot Guru? Things could get very hairy to set up if you don't.
Oh, and if there isn't a bot to announce time (how much time is left) ... then you should arena msg like 10 min left ... 5 min left etc.
Have you ever played TW Warzone? It's multiple terrs ... not just one. No limits on ships (shipchanges subs etc).
I want to fight the enemy and be use for my team as attachable ship, terrier aint the fighter ship I'd chose. Players left in battle without a terr are useless, doesnt seem right to me. I used to play warzone type of play for a couple years, also created my own warzone type of game which is now at ?go omniverse.

To answer points : I don't recall current warzone settings but I believe it's you can carry as many as you want at one time. I'm not sure if it's possible to adjust the amount of flags that can be carried by any ship, but it's something to look into. Especially as some adjustments may be made to ships. (remove X radar, remove shooting ability from wzls and make them cloaked until they pick up a flag at which point they lose cloaking ability, adjust levi to reasonable settings). Pity it's not possible to make it so only certain ships can pick up flags I think one at a time would probably be the best setting.
Total bases : 4, possibly 5. Maybe put two entrances on each of them.
Pts per flag Ding : 500 per flag every minute seems to be a good amount. (So about 25/30 points per player). Keeping in mind that if a team has 6 flags they'd be getting 3000 points per minute.
Pts per kill : No flags : Now then, I'm not sure how this would work best. It could be done like TWBD (Defaults at a certain amount, +7 points per kill in a row, +1 per green) However maybe it could be 0 points for all ships except terr, with terrs getting 3 bty pts for each green collected by the team. Give extra credit to teams who break other teams defense. Worth looking into. Each flag = +25 pts per kill.
Time to carry flag before drop : Time to fly from one flag room to the flag room in the opposite base + 20-30 seconds. Maybe add a bot command that allows a user to reduce the flag carry time to 5 seconds to speed up the process in case a ship was able to attach.
Freq changing : No.
Teamkill/Spec mode flag drops : I'm intrested in hearing the pro and cons of how this goes. Especially if it's possible to make bot adjust the flag timer.
Extra : If it's possible to adjust flag timer (increase or decrease time) it may be possible to increase it, and give bonus points to a ship getting kills while carrying flag. So if a team is behind and captures a flag it'd be given extra points for playing risky and making the flag carrying ship get kills. So while the rest of the team gets the pts bonus for the team flag, any kill the ship that's carrying the flag gets is worth an extra 4-10 times the flag points per kill.
People in charge : Not up to me to decide. If this becomes official they'll put who they want in charge
Bot programming : Depends on staff. But the more we can do, the better.
Again feel free to disagree on whatever points. These are all things I just think of and may or may not be feasible.
There was a WZ cup in TW ages ago that was successful and I believe it used the default settings. Maybe it was in something like ?go wzleague. Anyway just to say based on that, it was nice, simple and successful - can't remember exactly what the win-criteria was though.

If you want this to be easy as possible then I'd say use the ?go warzone settings and just change the map.
But if you're looking into the long-term development of a warzone arena and/or league, then it might be good to tweak the settings (flag, pt, ship settings).
And the easiest method would be to just use the settings and map in ?go warzone.
1 flag at a time can be carried, it takes like 200 (is it seconds?) to drop. Tking gets you the flag, tho you might wanna disallow this, because I think that it's good if a player is "out" of the game for 200 while securing the flag, it would be more fair then getting the flag, attach, drop and go back to shooting people, IMO.

I think in EG, if you tk your own teammate, the flags get scattered randomly on the map or something (can someone in EG double check this?).
About levs ... I think they should be allowed ... in fact I think all ships should be allowed. And if you're thinking about changing ships to be more basing-based ships, then try to either make them like the shipsettings in ?go warzone (isn't the levi tweaked there?), or more like pub settings.
Although I said 2 entrances might be fun ... if they aren't easy enough to defend, then scrap that idea and just go for 1 entrance per base. If you wanna create some 2 entrance bases, make sure they are bigger and/or harder to get into than 1 entrance bases (perhaps add a few big chokepoints).
