im working on improving its SEO, basically if someone types in "free online game" in google. subspace/continuums wants to be top.

And if you think it looks kinda firefox esk thats not an accident :P

I'd recommend being consistent with your capitalization. I'll be damned if half of the SS population can type correctly.

It's something small, but when everything looks good, it looks professional, and is better received by the public. A.K.A. more players.

You should also write SubSpace, not Subspace if you want to get technical.

One thing I'd change though (I dunno if someone already mentioned this) is not to have the link just take you to another site. Make it direct to the client download.

I've done "behind the scenes" marketing.

Mostly on private gaming forums etc.

So far on few forums SubSpace has gotten a lot of support.

I'd just capitalize the first one. But that's my opinion. How it is now is good (I'm assuming you changed it).

Well, yes. At first I thought SubSpace was wrong, because the only spelling you do see is SUBSPACE, but then looked it up on both wikipedia and ESRB. So yes.

getcontinuum.com, no offense is just a lame rip off of the old website, until they change it and its 1997-style website, I'll stick with getsubspace.com

i've put up a tweaked version of my installer its at http://getsubspace.com

I've removed the auto profile creation for now as that is going to take a while to get working.

Its one of the smallest installers around. It is only 4.60 Mb.

It comes preloaded with 0.39pre1 and 0.38.

It comes loaded with all the SSC zones.

It comes with a quick start guide.

It works :P

The reason you were not included is because TW has lacked active representation on the SSCouncil. So when I brought up the subject after convincing Ahmed to point subspace.net to me I brought it up to the Council. I'm sure you know this, but Priitk has been your rep all this time and he doesn't even get the emails.

So I took it upon myself to correct this as TW should be working together with the rest of us. I also think you should have a say in the SSCouncil discussions as we make SSC Network policy which does affect you. This all could have been corrected a long time ago if you guys had seeked a new seat. But that aside I got a vote through to add Pure_Luck to the SSCouncil so he will be added shortly.

What you guys need to do is stop working in conflict with everyone else and nows the time. GetSubspace.com is intended as a Firefox inspired download page while GetContinuum.com is intended to be a portal site. With that said please change the text on the front page to point people to getcontinuum.com instead of subspace.net. You changed the URL but not the text. At this point we've both made new installers where the only real difference I see is that I included the .37 exe.

As we have different purposes for the sites I suggest we run them in tandem. But what we don't need to do is directly compete. Please talk to PL so he can speak with the rest of us on your behalf and lets make this work for everyone.

- Create a nifty userbar and spread it here!

I would definitely carry it in my signature everywhere with a link to getcontinuum.com / getsubspace.com . This will help get those sites linked and some more exposure to the game.
