I originally wasn't going to respond but you must be pretty dull to think I wouldn't be important. Not important as a "OMG U MUST TALK TO XOG" but more of a useful option should anything occur legally with the status of the game.

Some things that don't concern you or anyone else here on the forums except for PoLiX.

But just to clear up any confusion anyone has, I work here and I have contact with lawyers, contractors and attorneys that do pro-bono work.

Goal is to bring much more people from all over the world to the game. Maybe for free in the beginning but also depend of our discussion.
A little more clarity on theirs plans in an e-mail from Bobby Chang to me and Xog.

Pretty much that from the other CEO Bobby Chang and the e-mail I forwarded him that I send to Mr. Schmid, has gotten no reply, I think they realized it isn't happening.

    Even easier than that.

But the fact that he replied to an e-mail from me which I had to type the address in, not just reply to it as the original e-mail was to Grelminar. He forwarded to the council, and MTN had myself take care of it. I've handled a lot of this sort of stuff in the past, so of course spent many hours researching him before e-mailing.

And before it is said, yes he could catch the e-mail or have stolen one off the domain, but why go to so much effort for nothing? So eh.

Anyways, closed the topic on SSF the other day, and this will probably be my last reply here. Enjoy the discussion.

Really only wasted about 15 mins :P

All I did was go to rapidshare.com and found the email to support.. so I sent in an email to support@rapidshare.com and got a reply from Bobby the next day. Like I said though, just contact me should the situation ever occur. It's all pro-bono.

I did, but I have no clue as to what you did...?

The person I have been in contact with is the CEO in charge of anything Rapid. Bobby is the current CEO in charge of Rapidshare. RapidShare is part of a larger group who runs a few other websites that they link with Rapidshare.

I spent quite a few hours browsing the web and making a phone call to find this out.

So if this is what you we're trying to do. Thanks, but wasted a lot of your time.

Don't understand the least bit what XOG is up to, but thanks? I dunno.

Anyways, this isn't the 1st time this has happened in this games history, so I wouldn't worry bout anything.

We aren't going to work with them in anyway beyond advertising, but waiting to see where that goes.

There is a lot of other more important things going on right now anyways. This one is under the rug unless mr schmid contacts me or grelminar again.

If xog was pretending to be someone who can negotiate from a point of influence, then maybe you'd have a point. But as a curious "regular player" he's just reinforcing their beliefs that the game is viable, and that people will actually use RapidShare in order to play it (he had to have an account to email them i'm assuming).

I'd seriously doubt there'd ever be a lot of legal recourse because whoever seems to own the rights to SS doesn't seem to give a fuck what goes on with it.

I'd also be interested to see what games they have that make them money. Does anybody know? What's their source of revenue from? Subscriptions or ads?
I already contacted PoLiX and let him & Bobby Chang know who I was and where I stand and how I can help (believe me I'm a very resourceful person in this matter, I wont go into details). They are going to discuss the matter further. If I am needed, polix will contact me. It's now between PoLiX, the councel, and rapidshare.
