Lanc, with spread or not, is not an equal opponent for a warbird in open space. The only thing that can save you in a lanc is lack of skill on warbird side or luck.

Sneaker, I dont want to offend you when i say this, but that is just crazy. Of course i read the first post. The warbird does come out top in recharge, bullet speed, and manuverability. But you get a lanc and a warbird in a closed area, the Warbird is gonna get shot to shit. Also, even in open areas, manuverability and speed isnt gonna do anything for a warbird that is caught off gaurd by a lanc. So it is simply this. Lanc does not require skill, all it requires is the element of surprise. and the warbird, even if it doesnt require skil, requires a pretty good aim to take out a lanc before it takes them out.

And im not trying to bust on you either, but all this would do is make the ship even more annoying because then there is a greater chance of clearing out a flagroom very quickly. That's like saying give the warbird multi, if you know what i mean.

No, even that is wrong. Even if there was no room to move AT ALL, the wbs recharge is twice as fast.
