The resolution it records is what you enter at when you are picked, once I get chosen i usually switch to a normal resolution. If you see , you can get recorded at any resolution you want if you enter the arena and and get chosen. IE: http://twd.trenchwars.org/showgame/90027707 where it shows delectable at 1980 x 1440 or whatever he was at.. This isnt a very accurate measure of resolution

But if he didn't suck at this game and then he'd be wrong for what he's done? Whether he's bad or good it's irrellavent. People are quick to call me a cheater after owning someone when I'm not cheating but when a staff member who's sucks is caught cheating and then it's ok. Lol and we continue on writing threads after threads about the zone dying, when we have a sys op who can't stick to simple rules, rofl.

Old SMods and previous SysOps(no names) have abused powers before...just in a different and slightly less competitive way. Changing your own res to get a strategic advantage is definitely a little shiesty...but w/e I would only consider it a major advantage if the abuse had worked...judging by his rec it didnt...so its not like he was prizing full charges, etc...it's definitely abuse though.

Btw, may not be the proper place to say it but now the resolution is taken during a game and not when a player get added (since this morning). Since PL has shown the world how to screw my stats

thats a really stupid attitude. Staff here have done alot of dodgy moves and the high up staffers should be doing the upmost to set an example of abiding by the rules, not abusing and misuse of their privileges. The higher up in staff you are the more important that becomes.

i'd not care that much as it's probably a case of forgetting to change res but then stabwound posts a very stern post on the news in TWD.org

You MUST read and understand the rules, especially the section on roster and doublesquadding rules. There have been many bans recently due to people breaking these rules, and ignorance is not an excuse. If you have a sibling/friend/spouse/etc that plays from the same connection, notify TWD ops first! You won't get away with it if you don't, and it will be viewed as doublesquadding or name sharing.

P_L has done alot financially and put time into this zone and for that he deserves everyones gratitude but that doesn't make him an overlord accountable to no one. This isn't a big offence but it's also not a matter of pff he can do what he likes whilst others cannot cause he is sysop. For me that is not in the spirit of what this zone should be about.


anyhow personally i disagree with raising the res as we should be appealing to the "student notebook cant run better games market" that dont have huge res and they might want to play competitively without disadvantages. When this issue was raised a few years ago it was near 50 50 on whether to raise it but ultimately it didn't go ahead till now

he played a BD game in 1920 x 1200 (LEGAL IN BD) res. match was over, a DD started. he entered the DD arena and was added. esc+q'd, changed res to legal res and came back.

The bot recorded his res as 1920x1200 because he was added with that res. (this was changed just thismorning, so nobody should be able to abuse it anymore anyway)

bd allows higher resolution than dd? Aww. I have always wanted to dd on 1600x1200. Thats the highest my monitor can dish out. I have an old, bulky, 19" CRT monitor from the year 2001. lol
