PJ u got a point it is stil the word regardless, but on those other racist posts everyone always says its how its used in context and this and that, here is a prime example of staff using constant excuses. Now Vehicle awhile back was banned for that 1 word inuit or something bc of the "context" of it, if he would of used it diff he wouldnt of been banned so they say, shouldnt it be the same thing for jason and the N word?

And as far as mods coming in and "investigating" thats bs, every time someone on my chat says they are gonna do it jsut to see how it goes down , u see him say the word, the mods come running and 2 secs later he says on chat he got warned by 1 or 2 mods, that isnt investigating.

Yes I know the point you are trying to make and it is in fact very valid. But when a mod 'investigates' he looks at a lot more than context. Like the person who is saying it for instance. How likely is it that a bored, arrogant racist is going to change his racist views so suddenly? Its not very likely. So the fact that you said, and were warned just that day trumps the context card. But there is also a possibility that the said racist changed his views, in which case he is defending his belief that racism is wrong and is only trying to prove a point. But you must remember that this is in public, and not everyone in the arena has been reading this in depth discussion. So when they enter the arena, and see the line 'fuck you ******' they will get upset. Now there are two forms of context here. One, is the singular line context which contains only the words that are on the 'racist' line, ie 'fuck you ******'. The context of this is very obviously racist. But then the second form of context is the whole discussion, in which case it is not offensive. But how likely is it that the whole pub is paying attention to the entire conversation? This phrase will grab more attention than anything else you would say in continuum and thus, is the most offending.
So wether or not the context was there does not matter in this situation. What matters is who said it and what was said. This, however, does not apply to every situation it is merely an investigation method for this particular event.

We can also use the same method of investigation that you say ceases to exist here. So some 'funny guys' decide they want to test out the moderators of TW and use a racist term. So the deed is done and PubBot reports it. Now, people in the arena are most likely offended; some of them are probably report it. A mod comes and sees who has done it and the overall chat of the pub. It is very obvious to him that the person in question has said an ignorant racist term. The context of this is easy to see since people are offended. If it was used 'in context' the pub probably would not have cared. So what I am saying is, it is easy for the mod to see that what was said was intended to hurt just by looking at how others react.

I know this will be picked apart and I have not done the best job explaining myself but I will post again later. But now I have to go
