Digitale makes no sense, when I remade Egyptian and it was 1 day old we had 6 people on roster, at that point digitale already refused to dd us. Thats quite sad. We arent syndicate or something...

I dont think ppl not playing is the problem. I think they are complaining bc of the squads who play ez ppl and get pionts to stay on top of the latter. But u do have to look @ It form the other side of the map. Those squads doin that arent stupid, they dotn want to just hand over points to a better squad. If they play that squad they want 1 of there best lineups on and to hav ea good chance of winning. Also it would be nice if that better squad was ranked higher on the ladder to u'd get more points for winning and lose less for losing. No one wants to play a better squad and lose 30+ points for being "brave". ANother thing is like WR said last reset. WHy would u want to play a squad who is arrogant and even whines when they win. Its stupid, not fun, and frustrating to just hear them whine all game using " even when ahead by 10+ sometimes. Those squads deserve to get no games.

And yes stab, they will sort out in time, but ppl were takling about waiting 1 month then pick TWL teams. The ladder wont be near sorted out in 1 month, especialy in basing.

well this is somewhat tru about them being smart.. but u know without playing any good squads and somehow getting into TWL will only make TWL less competitive.. and which result in drop outs.. this happened last year.. HCK-Limited got into TWLB.. and guess what? they dissolved after the first bd.. cause they cant handle the real competition in TWL..

On topic of Digitale tho, today we played a DD vs them and well it went 3 round but we won. Now if u look @ tanked's TWDD history u see we lost to such squads as menasor and such so we arent exactly a strong TWDD contender nor we do plan on making TWLD, but they were dealt with pretty ezily really. They mite sneak into TWLD, but i highly doubt they'd be any threat.

Awesome, every squad plays who they want to when they want to. Obviosly Pirates are alot better then digitale skill wise and probably teaming wise. Unless Digitale had there best lineup on or a great lineup on i'd doubt they'd play u nor would i (if i was trying for DD). I see pirates refusing to play Synd and other squads quite a few times bc u guy sdont have the proper lineup on to deal with them. Which is smart but its the same situation Digitale is in. I'd say 98% of all the squads are playing this way, which i said would happen come time to qualify for twl.

as for digitale, yes they may make it into TWLD, but they will get owned, i dont see any problem in that regard. However them getting into twl may rob the position from some "more deserving" squad, which would in trun make twl more competitive and better overall..

there should be some sort of bonus for playing twl squads, or possibly that the teams arent drafted into twl purely on their rank on ladder.

say squad X is #4 on ladder with 1200 points, and squad Y is #5 on ladder with 1100points..

assuming top 4 get in (random values bear with me) squad X would go in with the current setup. However squad X has played mostly easy squads, and lost nearly all of their matches vs "better" squads. While Squad Y has played anyone and everyone, with a mixture of results, including wins vs "better" squads.

doesnt squad Y "deserve" a twl spot more than squad X?

Its sad to hear Wild Mage problems are starting to surface on Digitale; perhaps some bad losses have lowered overall squad morale. It happens to all squads, some can't get over some match losses and eventually fall apart. Then some of the good players on the squad seeing that their current squad doesn't have a next to perfect match win streak gone... leave for the next best squad... Some good players are more like mercenaries than like loyal squad mates. Also some the workhorses (important squad mates) are starting to get burnt out...anyone would be if you guys play 10 twdds a day for like 2 weeks straight..eventually you'll get bored or lack motivation.

Yeah, Cig smoke its pretty obvious most squads out there are going to be cautious so they can make this so called TWLD. Quite honestly, it doesn't matter to me I'm on a squad that makes TWLD; just would be a bonus.

It would be nice to be on a squad with a lineup that could challenge anyone and have atleast have a fair % chance of winning the match. But come on, if you happen to be on a weak squad...that has like a 1% chance of beating a Super-Squad, then whats the point. Ok, its a good experience to show where you need to improve... but such devasting match results like 50-16 can really destroy the morale of some squads where they just give up on the game altogether. I have seen the more experience squads being rather cruel to these new squads with their ego and rampant trashtalking. Though some good squads are good sports, say GG and be done with it.

In the end it might actually be more fun for the participants to play a squad at their level, then to play some squad way way better than them. Most people give up if they constantly lose... some people even leave their squad if they don't have the perfect winning streak. I personally don't mind to lose once and awhile... but like all the time, I just can't stand that.

Its like in the Gulf War, the US send an elite mobile infantry against some IRAQI Regulars millitia.... they just can't fight that type of force, they give up.

Most of you think this is stupid idea, but this what I think would be good.
For TWDD: Have 3 distinct ladders: Elites, Regulars, Greens.
To move up into a higher up ladder you take the top few squads in Regulars in move them into Elites, the lowest ranked Elite fall back into Regulars. Do this cycled every few months. This way it forces squads to play squads at their level. Only squads that fall into Elites Ladder can be considered for TWLD. Have a set limit of squads per ladder depending on interest in the respected leagues. Obviosuly for twbd, there is few squads that are capable to participate, so wouldn't be needed. But for twdd with usually 100 Squads, it might help do what Desperate suggested.

Please don't condemn this, just brain storming ideas, maybe if we all put our minds together we can put an end to all this arguing and have a more fair league system. I remember back around the New Year when Value was getting frustrated with squads at around their level that didn't want to play them and that is understandle.

TWLD only benefits is the competition and to some the online reputation. Other than that this TWL is very inconvenient, like some of us work on weekends, we can't play a match at a set time/date; real life tends to get in the way sometimes for some of us. That is best thing about TWD, play whenever you want, all automated; good enough for me. Just when TWLD comes, a bulk of the competition will disappear, oh well its only for a few months and in the Summer time when most of us don't like playing anyways..lol.

I belive myth said above that TWD rewards Activness to, which is good for TWL to. We found in the past with many cripple squads how inactiveness hurts u come TWL but i dont think u should get into TWL only bc ur active.

About boz, someoen said Digitale is made up of some boz players or something.

Nim- I think it all depends who u are and what players u have on ur squad. If shriek just milked its way into TWL it would obviosly be competative come TWL yet same goes for other squads who are mediocre.

Geez I did my daily twdd squad lurk, and what did I see -- Digitale has dissolved. Its sad to see sometimes when squads fall apart, especially the ones that been around for like 3-4years.

Maybe I better not wish any squad a best of success in TWLD.

I'm sure some the players on that squad will find new homes.

Probably the most important thing to consider about chosing a squad into TWLD is it stable? Will this accepted TWLD squad keep it together or just fall apart because they had a few match losses.

Like say two squads are at rank 16 and rank 17: but rank 16 squad is above rank 17 squad by 2 rating points. Yet, rank 17 squad has been around for say 2 years... rank 16 only put together for about 1-2months. Who gets the cigar? I know this a rare situation, but just bringing up the point Cig Smoke brought about concerning squad stability/activeness.

i guess system would work if twd reset just after the end of twl and take all months between the next twl season so those squads would lose their points cause they would get marked for not playing top squads and other squads wont give them points too and everything will flow naturally (i was observing that if a squad is inactive for periods it loses points).

Another advantage would be that competitive squads wont come up near twl and ppl will be whole time playing.

PPl arent stupid nowdays They know how to make TWL or atleast increase there chances of making TWL. They konw the #1 spot will give them the most points for winningand least amount for losing. They also know Grapevine is a very good DD squad. U being ranked 15th with such talent dont make the top 10 squads really want to play u bc its a good chance they'd just be giving there points away to u. Thats the problem with TWD. Im sure once u guys get up in the top 3/5 and higher points more ppl will wanna play u just for the sake of trying to take ur points. Until then dont expect as many games unless u do to notch squads constnatly.

And just a message to the squad Portal: Hope you don't get into TWLJ with that kind of bullshit (they played 5 or 6 games [can't remember] against some newb ass squad called Barbershop, and the last 4 or 5 games Barbershop just accepted the game, without even having enough. And we're talking several GAMES here, not rounds). Fuck you Portal. If you do get in, I'll personally see to that you will get dicksmacked. Start accepting our challenges, btw.

Side note: BAM!!! <ER> is on Portal. He/She/It as a current staffer should know that it is lame/wrong to do something like this.

Disoblige has been around for 4 years or so, it would be pathetic if a cheating squad took your place just cause of points. For squad to keep hold together for that amount of time and to not decline but increase in skill is something to be quite proud of.

Two squads resorted to this forfeit match cheating: Kahla (Paky Dudes squad) and Portal. I just don't know how they got the courage to do that or to think we are all that stupid not to notice.

I don't know what it is about this weird squad names (Keelogs, Baisley Bunch, and Barbershop). Just those names bring my attention, cause they obviously don't look like serious twdd squad names. There was some other squad like 3-4 months ago called Animal Cruelty which was quite high up, perhaps its the same group of people fooling around.

Maybe some elite players get bored not getting match accepts, so they figure if they create some silly looking squad they'll get more twdd playtime; for one case. And of course the reason is the forfeit match cheating they did.

I keep a tab of twdd squads atleast once/twice per week, go through everything looking for patterns. Oh well funny I didn't notice that Portal forfeit cheat, good work whoever found that out (nethilla). If I see anything funny, I'll bring it up if no one else has.

Good thing I didn't join kahla last week; oh well paky's squad fall apart in like afew weeks anyways.
