the hell keeps losing to british squad, stop it. if they make twld it will be a disgrace.

Its people like you that make me sick. 3 months ago BS were bottom in twdd, and changed leadership. Fresh blood came into the squad and we gradually changed it around, beating many so called better squads than us along the way to number one position last week, a great achievment for us.

I am sorry we dont play the best squads around but you see whats the point? we know our limitations and were playing the system smart, picking off squads around our skill level when we have out best players on. We have beaten egypt/ancients/digitale/kellogs/lyssic most of those around us. There us no point playing sk8/shriek every round till we feel ready and this will be in twl hopfully.

It's really easy to shit talk us rand, but you know some respect for those that aint as "leet" as you, and try there best and dont fold whenever they lose a few games would go along way.

We been in every TWL and our aim is to qualify once again. Its been a long journey to recover the squad from 854 rating, but one were enjoying. Maybe think before you talk shit again. See you in twl.

I like your idea WC, but i think the draft league would be the most suitable league to use that format. TWL is meant for squads that are usually comprised of people who have been big members of the TW community for quite some time and have become accustomed to playing with certain friends/squadmembers.This is a large reason as to why they are so successful. It would lower the caliber of skill in twl to have certain players seperated just because their team is too "stacked".
The twd system is actually a significant improvement from a few years ago when the teams were selected by moderators who may or may not have had some personal opinions which held sway over which squads were selected. I have found that as long as you are persistent with your challenges to those squads that dont usually accept you, there will finally come a time when they feel confident enough to take you on. Also, it helps if your squad uses some tact when playing the game. If you have alot of trashtalkers on your squad that like to harrass other players and laugh at them when they lose, then those "newb" squads arent going play you. Most of the time, those newbs are just looking for a little respect and if you win graciously they will come back for more.
The problem with the twd system is that most vets are lazy because they feel they dont have to be active in the twd system to prove themselves. Most, believe that all they have to do is sit around and wait till the weekend before qualifications and then challenge the top 6 squads to get a bunch of points. ez? If a squad is in second place, why would they play some inactive bunch of vets in 19th? Try and play the squads who are close to you on the ladder and gradually work your way up, rather than trying to go for the big win fast.
twd rewards squads for activity, so squadleaders should try to get out and challenge as many people as possible and sooner or later someone will accept. And if your squad is actively trying to qualify for TWL, then i would advise all squadcaptains to start gradually accepting those harder matches to prepare your squad for league play,so that when twl does arrive, you dont look like a bunch of fucking amateurs going 50-11 with 200+ people watching you choke.

i looked at the digitale roster and i guess they dissolved. And when you beat rapid it was all javs except 1 warbird that was playing. When rapid got its good warbird line on, we beat syndicate. And syndicate had one of their good wb lines on too, azreal, demon, beelz, and escalate. And i think rapid has past the point of one of those powerhouse squads that is full of good players, but they are all squadhoppers. so the squad dies in like 3 days. So expect rapid to pose a threat in twld, twlj too. too bad we are like the worst basers in tw though

I only played one round... Jard and Strike played the other. Rapid won't even come close to playoffs in TWLD.

The solution is simple, make the dropoff in point value a lot more extreme. make it so if a team plays a loser squad just for points, they might only gain 1 or 2 points.

As for British Squad, I seen a dramatic turn around in the space of 4-5 months. If you look back the Fall/2003, they were like rank#70-80. Now they are rank #1-10. I think they deserve to be where they are now, sol^ took control of British Squad and did some positive things for it. Some ex-brit squad members say sol^ is too bossy, but maybe that is the reason British Squad is doing better now.

Thanks Slaque for taking the time to explain the reality of twd/twl, yes I read your long message and completely understand. I just posted an idea, just an idea... to prove a point in regards to lineups and whether a squad will accept a match..etc Your right about new squads, if you show them respect they will play you more often. If you kick their ass bad, and then say "gg newbs!".. I don't think they'll come back for more, because you just gave them a horrible experience and they didn't come to play the game for that, they wanted to have a good clean game. Actually, when I ran my squad...it was a squad rule not to trashtalk. Just say gg and thank you for the match, nothing more. I seen some elite squads behave like this, and that shows they are real pros.

As for Digitale, I heard Ground Zero and Sao Paulo captains went to sk8 or Grapevine... that is the main reason it died. I got this information from a ex-Digitale member.

Why? its easy to make such statements without actually knowing anything about the squad. Our starting lineup will give any squad in tw a decent game, and were defo a top 15 squad on ability.

I can understand mattey's frustration because judging by British Squads twd stats, you guys have yet to play any older/established squads in twdd(with the exception of warpath and egyptian who have been struggling as of late) Perhaps its time for you guys prove that above statement, since you are obviously not giving "any squad" the chance to play you. British squad was the laughing stock of tw with their last year's shitty performance in twl, lets hope you prepare yourselves better this year(which definately wont happen playing newbsquad61 all the time)

How can u for 1 say Rapid is a threat in either LJ or LD lol. They lost there best javs Singer/disown/Sessy. They Cant stick with a serious dueilng team come TWLD. They'll finish atleast below palies/diso/gv/-f-/synd/shriek/sk8 for sure.

The point everyone is missing. To make TWL u dont have to be a top 3 team. There is obviosly 10+ spots for TWLD. U basicaly need to be a top 16 team to make TWLD. Even if BS wont pose a threat for the championship it hink there toplineup will be TWL worthy. I also think if it isnt BD who has the 16th spot it will be someone else who will get raped week in week out. As long as BS has Demonic and Acidmouse they'll have a decent lineup in ld.

Like myth said above. It rewards activity too. Obviously when a tWD history like that they have to be active to be high on the ladder. What they are is smart. They pick the game they have a good chance of winning and play it. As i said many times b4 this is the problem with TWD. U can be active and play those games u know u'll win and still make TWL. Im not saying BS isnt worthy of a spot. Maybe they got a plan on what they are doin. Maybe since a new person took over the squad (so i hear) and new ppl are being brought in they wanna work some kinks out 1st. U have to remember BS was pretty low on the skill radar b4. Now that u see there name higher in the list more ppl will wanna jion. the players additudes get better, moral gets higher then u start to play harder teams.

I still believe Even a BS of last season is worthy of the 15-16th Spot in TWLD. Even if it wont be BS those squad will prolly still go 0-10 or 1-10. BS has atleast a few "vets" so to say on there roster and if they'd show up they mite do very well.
