 Server, can you try making some simpler looking solutions? I think if the base is too convoluted or changed to drastically with lots of diagonal walls, ppl won't be too happy. And can you try out my 2nd entrance on the roof server?

 This is what I think everyone is talking about. It would allow for the terrier to be repped out of the 'crammed' position.

 Actually, when the various maps that fruit/myth/those of us that were there when we churned out 13 maps in like 3 hours, the major problem that showed with the cram is:New shots would be made, and it would be much harder for people to cram with my idea. Way more space for attacking spiders/javs to shoot. Before you had 3 tiles to attack into, now you have 5. Small diffrence but i'd bet it would work. But we will never know unless it was tested.
 
 a.) the inability to push the cram out of the way when it is weakened and make an entrance.(I.E. a steady terr can stay "crammed" even when everyone else has died because he can not easily be repped out of position)
 
 b.) the small area occupied by the spiders allows almost constant shark rep coverage for the defending team. This one's a little more iffy, and refers to that elusive "shark cram skill" that people will argue about.
 
 What I remember from playing maps with a wider mouth entrance was that cramming was just as, if not more, effiecient since the arc of fire is greater coming out of the entrance. This lead to the attacking terr being forced to make drops further away from the entrance, a situation that makes succesful attacks almost impossible.
 
 Server, I just think your maps suck. Don't read too much into it.

 A tile or two at the entrance... and then just widen the fr WITHOUT moving the jav holes, if that's possible... so basicaly just 3 tiles longer behind each spider linerupper (what spiders go on when lining), and then maybe making it a bit taller, maybe 3 or 4 tiles?
 
 I would hate to see the base changed too drasticaly. No, the good basers do fine on hosted base events as well, I don't think they're worried about that Server, I think they're just worried that it's absolutely going to suck and be no fun for a LEAGUE base.
 
 Ridding of the cram isn't very fair, that's just ridding of another strategy. Though I think these new maps should INCORPORATE the cram strategy, but it should also make room for squads that want to use any strategy they want.
 
 As for FR battles, they're fun, but having the match be one FR battle is pointless... why not just have the spawn in the fr then? Make WINNING the base accomplishable and REWARDABLE.... no... winning the base in the beginning and then holding it the WHOLE time is no fun, but it SHOULD be able to be held for some time. Meaning, cram and lines should exist, but if they were just a TAD easier to break, the games would be much more exciting.
 
 Don't impliment this new map just yet, I want to get this league on the road without much fuss, but I'm looking forward to seeing the 4 spider limit put into place.

 We played this. It makes breaking the cram much easier but FR battles are changed drastically too. Instead of most of the action above flag and 1-2 spids covering under, it was maddess above and below. Moving below flag was too easy and led to easy TDs. FR battles are short because there's less safety for the terr.
 
 Changing the map isn't as easy as it seems.

 I think we should stop being wussies about map changes and make some semimajor improvements. I'd like to see a BIGGER FR, and 2 entrances (either top and bottom or left and right side). Those are basically the main 2 things I'd like personally. And btw ... why the heck do we keep the rest of lower base intact when parts of it aren't used AT ALL? Isn't every part of base supposed to be "usable"?
