Javs didn't get surpassed, they're j ust simply not as good a basing ship with the current base setup.
Also, we're not exactly trying to help them anyways, everything we do is based around making you need to use 5 spiders.
A) No shipchanges, so you better use 5 spiders or get fucked.
B) we warp into ear at start now, on the auto warp a jav is pretty damn useless unless you've got horrible sharks on the other team where as before the jav would be on the terr and have to kill the other terr while attached
C)a laggy jav, even a 2d laggy jav - won't ever be able to rocket through a laggy cram (and all crams are laggy)
Without a base change or a limit of 4 spiders, then javs you do see are gonna be few and far between.The only TWO TIME TWLJ All-Star and TWLB All-Star who never played a game.

K2 i wasnt implying that all good base javs are laggy, i was implying that squads without a "nockm" or "pj" or someone like them will probably play there laggiest guy (if noticable amount of lag) in jav. It was done b4 the cram was created and it will be done again._o_2NASRALLAH

Edit: Btw, what do you mean by "first time"? Domi went 150-60 in jav vs British Squad in TWL just last season. And I went 149-55 last night vs. Spastic. Since I suck at jav, it shouldn't be too hard to get similar kills.- k2

Well thats the point im trying to make, javs can be as useful as a spider, and spiders shouldnt be limited. Also if u had a shipchange or 2 u could experament. The way it was last season ppl jsut played 5 spiders bc they didnt want to risk taking the chance._o_2NASRALLAH

yeah stab, i watched that game...i could have gone 200-50 in a shark
but yeah, now teams just get their laggy player in jav. and it sucks. It's getting to the point where im glad for a 7v7 (where 4 spids are played) instead of 8v8. No offense, but also especially when k2grey javs.
I just dont think they should force it upon us. Some teams probably relied on the jav as their secret tool, when 5 spids was the norm.
And if a justification for the jav was 'ez-er to break crams', you're right. But some people prefe to just push in with spids, not wipeout the team from afar, so dont fuck us over so some squad can get their jav and not be afraid of spiders.Last edited by Jerome Scuggs; 02-04-2004, 10:27 AM.
