    Froe playing the best lineup you can? EVERYONE will play a 5 spider lineup in order to win... basicaly by NOT putting this limitation in is saying "Teams will forfeit if they are caught putting only 4 spiders in." Now at least with 4 spiders you have a LITTLE more choice...

    By not putting a 4 spider limit on, you're in fact LIMITING the choices even further. You wanted the most choice possible for your team... then here's your BEST answer as of now.

    Of course this would be a totaly different story if the ships were tweaked around with a bit.

      Wrong. Sorry wrong. Don't tell me that you have to play 5 spids you don't. Think Div will play 5 spids? No i don't think so. You can say Overpowered Unfair. So now we are also FORCING yes forcing these squads to play a ship they may not be good at. So what you're saying is we can force them to not play the spid by implementing the 4 spid max. Yet if we Don't force them to not play the spid, they will be morally forced to if they want to win. Which is the lesser of the two evils?

          There are 8 players and 8 different ships. Why not make it you can only play ONE of every ship?

              This is an absolute joke- this should not carry over to TWLs and it's a shame to be tainting TWDs with this nonsense- spiders!?!? what?               The simple and honest truth is that with the cram Pallies will never EVER be able to play a 3 1 1 lineup against any halfdecent team.

              EDIT: I felt the need to add more.

              I find 5 spider boring and mind numbing as all of you do, to the fact where i won't play organised base games anymore, they'r ejust no fun. I only go to ?go base when there are caps I know will pick strange and fun teams i.e. not 5 spiders. I personally love the 3 1 1 lineup because it uses every single ship that isn't perma broken by the settings. It also makes the jav a far different type of jav from the more normal "i kill the terr jav" (thats the wbs job, well that and sharks) and makes him focus more on spiders than he would if there wasn't a wb. Anyways i love this lineup, but i love the 4 spiders lineup and the 1 jav lineup too.

              The base sucks, it just needs to be changed is all. Yeah it was good when it was first implimented but we evolved to use it best. First you used a jav to shoot down from the top and that was considered the biggest shot you could make. Then we started with bombs coming up from behind hwen shot in base, coming from sides, yadaa yadaa. Eventually linning got to strict and teams (actually you know what, it wasn't teams it was a single team - more on the later) pushed into a small cram position to maximize points and thats where we are now. We've done all we can with this basemap, a little tweaking will go a far way. either Limit spider to 4 OR change the basemap.

              My other points: I heard a debate on cramvslining (again) in base the other day - it was two newbies (like real newbies, i had never heard of either) who were both sure the camisade and only camisade were the first crammers. whiterabbits were the first real crammers because they were the first squad to use 5 spiders in twlb - the cram was just the next logical step.

                  no one has offered a sensible map change that would be popular for all. Also changing ship settings...Anyone have suggestions that will be able to get backed up by the majority of the population? Then if you get support things can be changed. You can't just say change this or that Be more specific. Sufficient, your map idea has gotten horrible response from the rest of tw.

                        obviously you know i don't give a shit about the fifth spider- I'm a base bird fan myself- I'm just saying it's ridiculous to suddenly alter lineup restrictions on such a standard ship- you're saying that you can't beat a five spider lineup without a five spider lineup, which is weak. You're also saying I can't beat a five spider line, which is bullshit. What sort of complacent, lay-down-and-die shit is this? It's such a disgusting underestimation of the jav and the bird it makes me wanna cry. I have been crying all night too- this girl i'm in love with just won't come around, women seem to enjoy having someone who's in love with them nestled deeply into their lives- it's such a strange insecure void that it must fill, I couldn't do it man, seems so egocentric and just fucking sedistic.

                          I prefer the 4/1 vs. the 5 spides, but that still is not the point- the point is- it isn't for you to say that 5 spides can't be played, these altruisms on basing are fickle food on a shifting plate fellas- it used to be silly to fly anything other than 4 spides and a jav- before that it was two knuckles and an eight track- ease up on the superlatives- 5 spiders is just another way to play.

                                - make the spider damage not random
                                - make the weasels 1 tile, recharge while cloak (a la old sets)
                                - i liked the idea of giving lancs red bullets. make them kinda of like a "heavy spider" with the wide spread for below flagroom. which I would add, give them more energy, so they could take more damage, but have a slower fire rate, same speed with or without multifire, to encourage just using multi.
                                - make the levi bombs have 3/4 the damage radius and attach at 3. portal and rockets (a la new sets)
