You just pointed out another good thing about time race. Now people will start using and inventing new (or old) kind of strategys, and we will see more variety in the games than before.

Still the point that every game should be won by the team with the most points. I think the increased spawn time is already enuff to help the cram weaken. Its alot harder for sharks to time it now.

You don't really have any argument behind that basing should be decided by points, other than that is has always been like that. Why not change it a little bit to get the game more fair, exciting and varying?

Bc u should keep it atleast the same atleast somewhat. Points race is really the same thing as Time race cept its done by points, why not use that?

And i dont realy mind the whole time race thing either way is "ok" with me. Afterall what i say isnt much of a difference, but i do think points should determine the winner not "time" but either way i suppose is fine. What we are basicaly doin is argueing the same point back and forth which is getting useless desp so i'll just give in to u rite now since it dont matter what i argue anyway

Ya its a nice thing to try to get other ships MVP to, but its just stupid of no one knows how to do it. Atleast either 1 change the format if it isnt working and/or tell us how u get mvp in each ship. B4 everyone knew most points = mvp.

It is quite clearly stated in the other thread labeled "MVP in a timed race game". Besides that you can try and figure it out doing !rating <playername> to the bot when playing the base match. NOTE: I said when playing. It doesn't work after the match has finished nor before the match started.

Basing was made for points. NOt the flag. Grant u need the flag to get more points, but in a FR fight if u let them have flag for a lil bit just to get the opertunity to push them back into a corner, or surround them its worth it. With time race letting them sit on the flag is hurting. Every secound of flag will count. I jsut dont like the whole idea of it, but i didnt like the point race either, now i dont think its all that bad. I still think the 30 minute games is the best and most fun for myself.

Basing was made for basing. Its called flagging, and it happens to have a base around it. No matter what format you make it, the basic is still the same.
Just because this zone is filled with insecure recwhores it doesn't mean this teamgame was ever about someones rec and comparing it with others.

Your second point is totally bullshit, it goes against everything that is called milking. If you push a team into the ear it would only matter if you had flag.
Now it doesn't matter if you don't have flag for those 5 seconds. You just totally crush them and kill their terrier in 15 seconds without flag. And before they are back in flagroom (wich you will be defending) you gain much more time than those 15 seconds.

basing isn't just about the flag, if it was you wouldn't need weapons or repels, you could just have 16 people sitting on top of it and seeing who gets it the most.
basing is about kills, points, bounty (believe it or not) and the flag, it's supposed to incorporate all of the aspects of tw into one game.

One doesn't work without another, you can't keep flag without killing people and you gain more points by having flag.
I wonder how many timed games you played before you formed your opinion.

As i said b4 i seen some games recently where the winning team had LESS points then the losing team. So it isnt exactly all true what ur saying. Yes u do need the flag for more points per kill, yes u need to kill to keep flag, but now u dont need to kill as much or as fast as u can. Now u sorta just sit back and "milk" the flag, so to say. Points dont really mean anything now.

But as i said b4, its useless to argue the fact. Its gonna be time race atleast for now in TWD. NO use in argueing anythin about it.

With Time Race, it's a little different strategy.... going right to a cram is a lot more dangerous then trying your hardest to keep the enemy in lower... or even out of lower for that matter. During last season, we saw that a lot of times teams that needed dire points would abandon lower all together and head right for the cram, not utilising the whole playing field.
