As a player, I play actively in three different leagues, and act as a squad captain in two of them. I'm yet to come across such a stiff league structure as in TWL. I'll explain the situation briefly.
This upcoming weekend, including monday, is a national holiday in Finland, probably the biggest party of the year - at least alcohol-wise. I know for a fact that none of our Finnish (key) players, including all of our captains (even Sika is going outside!!11), want to spend the evening sitting by their computer playing TWL. Plus the abscence of a few non-Finns.
I'm not meaning we should postpone the season, god forbid, we'd start at 2009, but I'd like to postpone -FINAL-'s TWL games for this weekend for a later date. There's a "rematch" round after the regular season, which would fit perfectly for our needs. All of the squads might have to play a game then, so it wouldn't make a huge difference.
As I stated earlier, the lack of a possibility to reschedule one match (per league) is unheard of, all the other league structures include it, and frankly not very user-friendly when situations as this appear.
It's not a big issue, and I know "it's only one round" but one round might have a huge impact in the end, especially when our opponents aren't the easiest but in fact our main rivalries (Quicksand in LD, Sk8 in LJ and Syndicate in LB). I'm not asking for much, and my request is (at least according to my logic) based on valid facts. It wouldn't hurt anyone, and we'd be able to put 100% into TWL, that's what the league deserves - not Joe playing WBs for us when no one else shows..
