TWL Postponements

For the third and hopefully last time, what part of "I'd like to postpone -FINAL-'s TWL games for this weekend for a later date" do you not understand? I wasn't asking for the whole league to be postponed for a week. I was asking if we could play our games at a more suitable time when over half of our starting lineups could show for the games?
In case you haven't noticed, every single Finn who has replied to this post, is saying that sunday's not a possibility for them. Kolar, please read the second paragraph of my post again to avoid any further misunderstandings. Pretty much every point you made in your post was incorrect, no matter how "clearly stated" they were.
Postponing "for random stupid things like missing players" is not random nor is it stupid when 50% of your squad is on holiday, out of/on the town (like us and Ancients in this case) plus the absense of a few other key players. And I won't get into "depth" that Kim was talking about, his squad can barely field one decent WB lineup for TWLD so I'd totally understand if they would choose to play a game at a later time, if their top line would be unable to show.Domi> I'll take right one, you take left..truce
USS Banana> ok
Domi> on a sidenote Samurai and Strike are hunted
Get ready. Game will start in 10 seconds
USS Banana> you arent playing
Domi> made too many plans and forgot to play
Nowyoudie> Sika once talked to me
Nowyoudie> He said !ready

wtf this is not a "finnish holiday" Its spread among most of the north european countries and goes back as far as to the 9th century.. Its originally celebrated to welcome the spring or w/e and its the biggest party happening for the students at the universities. Its pretty fun but at the same time its really lame and childish but yeah for those of us who are in uni this is a big thing but as many of you said already its not big enough to postpone twl for. I kinda like the idea that disq is pushing for tho but Im not sure its possible to actually do.. We really need some sort of delay system for twl, especially since twl will be played during world cup this year and that will seriously hurt at least the disoblige rosterOriginally posted by TysonThere is no such thing as hoologians there are only football supporters.Originally posted by HeavenSentHello? Originally posted by PUNK rockSo what's the problem with making your games on Saturday then? Of course every Finn is going to agree with you, they are all in the same boat. Make your games for Saturday, as so many teams seem to be doing, and go have your fun on Sunday. It's that easy.
I will be more than happy to confirm that I will be utterly wasted from Friday to Monday. I'd say it's very propable that nobody will really be able to play on saturday either, and no, starting early is not an option. I usually start my intoxication at about 6pm our time which is what, 10am EST or so? Drinking is a culture here and this is one of the biggest events of the year for it.jee

If every squad was allowed to postpone one game, then what happens if one squad has their opponents postpone like 4 times/season? It's not really fair at all at the end of the schedule if people need to use their postponement cause some other squad used it earlier against themI'm just a middle-aged, middle-eastern camel herdin' man
I got a 2 bedroom cave here in North Afghanistan

The season goes for 10 weeks, from next weekend to the first week in July. I think we should help the league understand all the holidays and important events that should be considered in the schedule. Below I have listed only the religious holidays in this time frame. Mantra has already pointed out a critical sporting event in this time period. Perhaps other folks could jump in and supply other dates/events that should be considered.
