I (and others interested parties) are not going to let the Finns circle jerk TWL staff into thinking that a majority actually wants Week1 postponed. By definition a forum is a place of discussion and debate, if you and other Finnish here didn't want that then you should have taken your case directly to TWL staff. Differences of opinion happen, the best thing to do is not take on this mentality that everyone different then you is stupid and can't see your side of things. My mistake, Disq is the one who wants special consideration for his squad (and only his squad). Topgod and some others want TWL posponed whenever they're too drunking to operate a keyboard.

Well... it's the internet.. Did you really expect the flammers and idiots to pass this thread by? Some people will lower the discussion to shit, but to discount the few who have actually taken both sides into consideration and are being unbias here because some people would rather turn this into a flame war or a Euro Vs. World sort of thing is not right.

Show me you can be open minded on this issue. I wouldn't blame anyone right now for going at any Euros here because they've obviously forgotten the other 90% of the world. I wouldn't like it either but again this is the net. By true colors I didn't mean some inherent trait to Europeans/Finnish but the immaturity and bullshit this forum faces whenever the forum kids get stuck between a serious debate, they pine and whine when they find out they can't find absolute compliance and acceptance from every single person and actually have to think and talk things out, then make a pissy exit before blamming the forum and the real people here. I have found many people, not just Europeans, to only think of their own enviroment. TWL has players from all around the world so you have to look at the situation from a global presective and from a non-player prespective because each action effects the leauge and all squads, not just yours which I believe many are not willing to do here regardless of their country.

Edit: I don't read the TWL forums much.. but if you're saying this is one of the better ones then that is pretty sad.

TWL isn't hosted during the week. It's hard enough to get people and hosts on for the weekend, if we started throwing games all over the place the league again would be unstable. I know personally I wouldn't be able to do it, even over the summer with school work. It's better if squads are given a time frame and work out a deal with the other squad when they want to play. If it is a legit holiday then something like this i.e putting games on weekdays if/when it's worked out with TWL staff may work, or just putting them into week 11. If I could write my exams exactly when I wanted to I wouldn't be tested fully. I'm not saying it's impossible just that it isn't practical and wouldn't do anything good for the zone or league.

Disq is asking for an unreasonable postponments to the league and I've clearly stated how any type of ability to postpone the game would be abuse/used for the wrong reasons.

You don't think ONE FUCKING STAFFER......1 STAFFER out of 30 cant make it Thursday night at 5 pm Est to host a -Final- vs Ancients twlj or some other match for euros? You are really on drugs, and you need to look outside the box. If both captains, BOTH CAPTAINS agree to play the match then, what is the problem? They ask their squadmates if they can make it, and they probably all can. This SHOULD NOT BE A BIG ISSUE.

You're basically saying that the only time when a squad and TWL staff is active is during Saturday 12-6 PM and Sunday 12-6 PM?

Again, think to yourself. THINK MAN THINK. How can not 1 staffer be online to host this game. Who cares if PL and Nethila are not there. It should not rely on these guys to host a simple 5 vs 5 jav match.


I know I am repeating myself, because it is just so moronic that this idea hasn't been mentioned before me.
