How many times are we going to go through this? The bot was LAGGING at 4 1/2 minutes, it did not officially DIE until later when it was too far in to reasonably redo the round.

The bot was lagging? from the 4 1/2 minute mark onwards the bot did nothing. the bot LEFT the arena later, yes. The fact that the bot was lagging was irrelevent. It was not responding at all, and the scoreboard never changed after the 4 1/2 minute mark.

And who gives you the authority as to when it is "reasonable" to redo the round. Even if sk8 had 40 kills by the time the bot left the arena, there is nothing in the rules which specifies when it is "too late" to redo the game.

Lets not play word games here. The bot was effectively "dead" very early. To go around and call it a lagged bot which left later in the game is playing a word game. I don't like word games.

The rules say that a major bot failure warrants a replay game.

What is there to argue about?

Ikrit I realize you don't agree with the rules, but this is not the proper medium to express that. Something like that should be brought up with the TWL ops after the season. As for this season, the rules should apply to everyone equally. Just because you were hosting the game, and you feel differently regarding the rules, doesn't mean we should not have the rules apply to us as they do to everyone else.

phYst, the bot stopped functioning at 21-8, and thats where the scoreboard stayed for the remainder of the game. That is when the confusion started. Whether or not the bot was in the arena is irrelevent, it was having major problems.

Please don't try twisting around the facts to benifit your squad.

I think it would befinit my squad to practice 1 more week against an easier squad such as yourself to get better for the big games against disoblige and syndicate.. I'm just callin it like I see it.. I was there watching the whole game..

I'm not able to introduce new discussion, because there are too many people here who are trying to derail the main concept this thread is discussing.

This thread is discussing the rules, not whether people think that we deserve the replay.

I keep bringing up that every other time this happens people end up with a restarted game, and that there is no reason that we should not be equally covered by the rule.

You posted this as an appeal, appeals are used to request an action to be taken. If you don't want anything to happen, reword the title and repost with your real intent.

You posted your appeal and put that as the topic of your thread, it's your fault that's what the whole thread has been about. If you wanted to talk about the rules you should have posted as "Ikrit sucks at following rules, wtf?" and just talked about the rules not the exact situation.

I have nothing against you, you made a judgement call based on what you thought you should do.

You aren't a TWL op, so ultimately no matter what we all think, this decision rests in the "higher powers". If the TWL ops agree with me regarding how the rules should apply equally, then we'll see what happens from there.

Until then, this thread is an appeal and the discussion thereof, does it really matter how I title the thread, it's stilll about the same thing?
