I would apply for a staff and host few matches myself if there was AML to be played. I think recruiting other hosts wouldn't be of a greater problem either. Also, AML should be after and or before twl matches, that is either very early or late in the evening.

i know lots of west coast american players who would enjoy getting up early on a sunday morning and lots of europeans who would enjoy staying up late on a sunday night for an amateur league!

Isnt TWD already basicaly the "AML" ? I mean its for the squads who arent good enough for TWL (pro level)

It will be even more competitive..

But I agree with people who says that there should be a max roster.
What is the point in having a squad 35 people who are just there either they dont care about TWL or just want a TWL title and sit on the bench.
Doesnt a TWLD/J squad have enough with 10 wbs and 10 javs?
So lets say they should have only 20-24 on the TWL roster.
TWLB squads should also have enough with 20-24 players if they only base.
See respect these days, roster of 40 guys who are nearly all good enough to bring competition in LB. Cuz they all want their name on the hall of fame. But then they are going to complain it was so goddamn easy to win the title. That isnt hard if you recruit everyone to your squad and make it less competitive.

So having less squads wont make it more competitive, there will be always squads who go 0-x or 1-x. Have smaller roster would help, also in twd to make it more active. Every day it is the same situation, seeing 10 sage players online who want to twd, if they were split they could twd, now they have to wait till the americans get on. Then Dice gets on and Sage is off and Dice is spamming the twd chat for games now. That happens every day..

I was being sarcastic about making it to 4, since the 'pro´s' want to play only pro's.. You can never get squads who wont go 0-x or 1-x. Nothing to do with competitive but people keep 'whining' about it

Should be noted that it failed because a) it interfered with TWL itself and b) because it interfered with TWL, there weren't enough hosts.

So on the off chance that someone does decide to run an AML, don't do it during TWL.

Actually I think they were that bad. It just didn't seem that way because instead of the 10th best squad going 0-9 and looking terrible, the 10th best squad would be 4-6, almost make the playoffs and look decent.

Whether you have 8, 10, 12, 16 squads, no squad would be embarrassed every week because the 16th best squad can compete with 12-15 best squads, the 12th best can compete with 8-11 best squads, 8th best squad can compete with 5-7th best squads etc...

Also Disoblige lost on average 50-35 last season (worst loss being 50-26) and by reducing the squads to 8 you've basically decided to kick them (or whatever squad is at their level next season) out. Hardly losing all games 50-23.
