I dont give a flying fuck if you enable 3421543513*23534613763 resolution, as long as I can use 1440*900 I dont care what others have.

If people really care so much about this, you have 2 options:

the thing about 2343x2342 resolution is that when you buy a widescreen it gets lower than what people have used (1400x900 vs 1280x1024)and if you 'downgrade' you will get the magical 1280x1024 resolution, which makes your arguement terribly stupid.

In no way am I boasting at my laptop I am stating that 1400 resolution is the resolution for old times and if we follow other idiots logic in this thread we should follow technology hence 1600 should be minimum. then again I dont listen to these so I dont care.

it's funny everyone of these idiots replied in their own form, meaning they didnt take into account anything really, they just stated their resolution or their meaning/stupidity about some things and failed to realize some stuff that some other guys have tried to put forward. either way this thread should be closed.

oh and 19" is terribly small, but bigger than my laptop, chars doesnt make sesnse even after this, is he some kind of baser who cant play this game?

If this zone has no intentions of changing resolutions, than the prizes given out for the Video Commercial should be changed to 15" Gateway monitor from 1999.

dont Encourage the use of Widescreens if your not going to change the Resolution to actually get use from your widescreen.

1280x1024 should be the limit, it is stupid to have more than one resolution in a competitive league. And what about all the people who don't read the forums or know about the resolution changes, this is just a disaster waiting to happen.

If youre still using a 4:3 monitor its about time to buy ureself a nice widescreen. Widescreen is or will be the most used formfactor. The future is now!

The game is very, very different with high res. You may think it's 'cheap' cause you can see far, but in reality it levels everything completely.

At about 1600x1200 there are no more stray shots anymore. Anything that hits you, is your fault completely.

Teamwork is significantly enhanced when you can see your teammates as well.

Personally I think the game is both vastly better and more fun at higher resolutions. Probably 1600 is best, at higher than that, people just end up running endlessly and play too conservatively.
