Yeah, people that have been active forum community members for years without doing anything wrong should get a warning for clearly satirical remarks considering people that contribute absolutely nothing to the forums get a shitload of warnings for being actually racist.

That actually isnt true, minium wages in Japan are significantly lower, japanese work ethic is extremely high (maybe the highest) and they have the leading edge in new business stratregies so they are doing pretty well.....

I think thats why democracy is so important to the world, if the people are free to influence govt policy then they wont have a reason to leave thier country as they can make it better.

I've decided to lift bloodzombie's ban for now, and let him get off with a warning. Looking back, it does appear that he was trying to prove a point and didn't think very hard before hitting post. Saying something racist assuming everyone will look carefully into the context is still saying something racist. Racist things that are said deserve a warning.

In any case I ban who I see fit. There are no written regulations for the forums (something we're working on), so I did what I felt was right. What bloodzombie wrote was highly offensive to me, mostly because my girlfriend and her entire family are immigrants themselves, and don't speak perfect English. I briefly considered a warning then ruled it out. After speaking with bloodzombie I realize that he himself is in a similar situation, and did not deserve the ban.
