        1) its manipulate

        2) I don't believe 100,000-200,000 Iraqies have died.
        5,000 - 10,000: maybe.

        3) Your government never betrayed you, they didn't intend to hurt you. They just damn used you.

Loyalty is just a way to rip people off. Welcome to the real world!

        • wrong. the 25,814 civilian deaths that the iraq body count project counts as of today are only deaths reported in the press, there have been around 200,000 civilian deaths and its an abolute blood and depleated uranium bath over there.

New Scientist was just one of several magazines and papers that picked up on this story

so ? thats an article about a team from the university of technology in sydney investigating a way to make cheap quake resistant homes. i think thats honerable work that will save lives and injuries in third world countries.

"The bamboo is ductile enough to withstand an earthquake, and strong enough to confine the adobe structure so that when it breaks - which is inevitable with a big quake - the pieces are held together," says team member Dominic Dowling.
now can we get back to the topic of this thread? bombing in london? i say dont let them scare you into forgetting everything they do wrong and into giving up our civil liberties. you want to live in a so called safe society or a free one? theres no doubt these tragedies our benefiting our governments and changing the world closer to what they envison for us. theres no doubt these attacks were able to start and maintain the war in the middle east. It is not wrong or mean or evil to point this out. thats all i have for now.

i wont be over-posting in this thread or make it like the 9/11 one. might not respond to everyone who addresses me.

              • I read newscientist, and trust it. However, due to a recent discovery (being that t0ne also reads ns), I'm so ashamed. I think I'll delete this RSS now.

Despite the fact new scientist is a very reputable magazine, an idea in the world of science is nothing but a speculation. Newton was never exactly right about laws of physics and Einsteins relativity fails every time relativity is significant enough to need to be taken into account. And that's two of the more successful stories.

People in Iraq die from violence, disease and hunger way before U.S. invasion. Yes, there are more death, but we can not contribute all the deaths to the war.

I thought it should be blatant obvious that one of the main reasons Bush started war was that's his only hope to win the last election.

And all freedoms are relative. Sure Bush sucks, but Sadam just sucked more. The relality is: most of the times you can't choose to be the exact way you want. The best you can do is to avoid the worst.
