as anyone ever used the drug tramadol? (Ultram, Ultracet, Tramal)

I've used the drug panadol, but thats just a crappy pain killer that doesn't even work on me.
I'd imagine the difference between panadol and tramadol is like the difference between being hit by a frying pan, and being hit by a flying tram.

well tramadol is a powerfully euphoric and stimulating opioid that also inhibits serotonin and noradrenaline reuptake. its uncontrolled and believed by doctors to be more benign than it really is. its also quite different than heroin oxycodone hydrocodone. far superior to all of them for me and some others. tramadol its self is not a very good drug, its one of its metabolites that is much different and better so the person taking it has to genetically have a lot of a certain enzyme for it to be so much better than it is for other people.

cig smoke may like tweakin on speed but thats his particular neural chemistry. if i take speed i get low instead of high. low as in being in misery. his heart probably doesnt race and he probably doesnt get a fucked up tongue and jaw and feel like his head is expanding and feel intense dysphoria, but everyone is different.

all drugs of so-called abuse (and they certainly are abused by some) have one thing in common. they increase dopamine activity in an area of the brain called the nucleus accumbens.. all of them from nicotine to opioids to meth. if we could have modified brains that have more dopamine neurons and receptors in the final pleasure pathway of the brain, we'd become people who are able to experience much more pleasure and motivation in everything in life. believe it or not, even religion. when someone believes in something and feels the belief and has a sense of self-rightousness it too affects that area of the brain and this supports their beliefs with feeling. when we are dealing with depressed people, we cannot say 'snap out of it' or do this or do that, because we are saying these things from our own experiences and our own capacity to experience reward and pleasure from those things. anhedonia is the condition of not being able to properly experience pleasure and motivation from stuff and its totally biological in basis.

                never ever touch nutmeg

morning glory seeds have too many side effects

harmala will get you rather stoned with a psychedelic touch, though its an MAOI and can kill you when mixed with other drugs or the wrong food like blue cheese. i used it daily for a month or so to combat depression.

salvia has me struggling to stay in my body and to retain my ego, its terrifying.

Alpha-methyltryptamine was somewhat ok , i used it before it became illegal in 2003. sometimes produce clearity and anti-depression, but gave me serotonin syndrome shakes, and from lower than normal doses too, im very sensitive

kratom was clean and good, anti-depressing and anti-dysphoria

Nutmeg is an abusable drug? Heh... my only experience with it was with spiced wine, spiced with an extraordinary amount of nutmeg.

Pain killers suck in my mind. Really useless so to say.
I've never had a pain killer thats really worked. Then again, I've never had the more powerful clinical ones, like morphine. But commercial painkillers=waste of time. I'm going to take a Bachelor in Chemistry, maybe make my own 'painkillers'.

                            - Two milkshakes from Jack in the Box, one coffee grinder and a lot of raw nutmeg pods gives you a terrible but mildly hallucinogenic experience and 24 hours of sleep.

                            - San Pedro cactii contain mescaline, and are legal to purchase. Eat two and call your doctor in the morning.

                            - Salvia divinorum is still legal to be sold as incense. Buy that 20x extract incense, 'gravity bong' as much as you can handle, hold it in for 30 seconds for the full effect. If it's not working for you, the salvia is being metabolized before it's able to reach your brain. Don't move around -- too confusing. Play good music.

                            - Opium poppies can be 'legally' grown in the US, as they're extremely common garden additions. Harvest from the garden, bring them inside, slit the pods, scrape the opium, dry the opium, pods, and straw, make tea of the ground pods, and smoke or take down the opium. Slit the pods outdoors if your neighbors aren't Republicans / felony charges are not a problem. Good alternative to commercial painkillers, and costs nothing. Save enough to use year-round.

                            - To those who have not experienced the joy of an opiate, for example claiming commercial painkillers do nothing, increase dosage as necessary. Painkiller addicts are known for taking upwards of 30 pills every day. A skinny guy can easily handle 5 vicodin without overdosing. Don't take with alcohol. Initially the difference in feeling is extremely subtle. Over time one can instantly feel the moment even trace amounts of an opiate enters the bloodstream. Unfortunately, the more addicted you are to opiates, the far more satisfying they are. You may need to cross the threshold to an extremely mild addiction, often experiencing very little up to that point, before you have a truly positive/addicting experience.

                            - Read good literature to offset inevitable guilt of degenerous behavior.

Uh getting addicted to opiates is really bad. The way they work is that you start getting desentized to increasingly larger amounts so you have to take more and more.. and then you get a huge number of side effects.
