Availability of crude oil isn't the big issue, it is the fact that many refineries have been impacted and can not make gasoline. So opening up the reserves isn’t going to put more gas at the pumps.

The huge joke about the whole oil industry is the fact that they raise the price of a barrel of oil as soon as some kind of change occurs such as a natural disaster or tention in Iraq, when the plain fact is, it takes oil many months (almost a year for oil coming from the middle east) to be shipped, refined, etc, before it even makes the pumps. So the effects of something like this shouldn't actually be felt for a long time. But the oil companies use tragedies as an excuse to pocket more money, and they know we can't do anything about it because we NEED the oil. And it's greedy assholes like this that basically run society, what a twisted world we live in.

go to dealer ships and take there gas, most of those cars are full and arnt under security camras. PUMP AND GO?

Around where I live, regular is about 2.89 a gallon.

Here at my school, the gas station down the street is charing 3.29 for regular. DC sucks.

I don't really know what it is here, because we haven't bought gas in awhile. We store lots of it at our house, for the tractors and such. So we've just been using that.
