100 Rockets to the north yesterday(with injuries and casualties) , Grad rockets landed in our south .

Center Israel currently locked down due to a massive suicide bomber hunt .

My greatest concern is that we might be looking at the start of a greater conflict , with Syria . IDF is currently utilizing a minor part of it's conventional force on two fronts , and it is ready for a more massive conflict which might be imminent due to Syria's and Iran's support of Hezbollah

In short...

Israel got attacked by Hizzbullah militant terror group, killed 8 soldiers and kidnaping another two, without any Israel irritation.
After 6 years of eating shit from them, and doing nothing againts them cause Israel want peace, the time to stop them has come.

Israel started bombing the neighborhoods that considered hizzbullah stronghold, and some lebanon infrastructures, mostly used to deliver weapons to them (roads, fuel, airpot ect..).

Hizzbullah shoot katyusha's and some more rockets on Israel north cities, aiming civilians.
Israel on the other hand, warn all the time all the civilians before the bombing, to leave or get hurt. unfortunately, they get hurt :-(
and many died.

Clearly its all Hizzbullah and lebanon fault, and the civilians who die are not Israel responsibilty, cause of the two reasons:

1) Israel got attacked, and every country in the world have the right to defend her self againts other country or terror group that a country let them run freely.

2) Israel warn before any attack on the media and with proclamations dropped from airplanes, that all citizens must leave, so they wont get harm.
we do it some hours before the attack, giving enough time.

Israel attack will stop till we get our soldiers back, and force the lebanon goverment and army take responsibility and take the south of lebanon under their control, and disarm hizzbullah. simple no?

why people in the world blame israel? two funny reasons:

1) people are dumb

2) the media is fevor for the arabs, mostly cause europe is full of islamic's, and the hard scene of war in lebanon is good to the media coverage at the end. after all, this is a war, and blaming someone on using too much force is just stupid... especially when israel really do try to avoide killing innocents (but there are, sadly).

lets hope it will end soon, crushing this terror group, and live in cease fire for long time, until both ready for peace.

It took europe many millions of deaths and 2 world wars to finally bring peace between the nations there.

"Never again" is what was said and resulted in creation of the EU. A union of nations, with the eventual project of forming a UE a United Europe to ensure peace.

It took 2 nukes and over 1 million civilan deaths to end the war between japan and america.

Unfortunatly i fear it will take a another few millions of deaths in the middle east before the people incharge of any of the sides realise that killing each other is not a good thing.

People in the Middle East have been killing each other claiming the same God-awful piece of land in the name of their own true God for the past 3000 some years. I'm pretty sure that it's not as simple as the causes/effects of World Wars I and II.

Don't listen to a clearly biased Israeli about the situation. I can see Israel's side more easily than the Lebanese one, basically because Lebanon won't pull their thumbs out of their asses and do anything about the situation, but Israel don't seem to care about bombing civilians because "it's a war". After decades of dealing with suicide bombers on buses, malls, and restaurants, any rational person should be on the Israeli civilians side. Israel should be shredding those assholes to pieces and it seems that they are. GJ

I was watching CNN news, and fact is, not even the people in Lebanon are blaming Israel. Who are they blaming? The US. Sad, but true. Because the US already sided with Israel, it makes the Lebanese people feel abandoned by the world leaders. So what do some Lebanese vow to do because of this? They vow to never forget this act of injustice, to support Hezbollah and raise their children to fight and have revenge. Even those opposed to Hezbollah think Israel may have gone too far, possibly pushing Syria to its limits by intaking all the Lebanese refugees. Israel has also already created a humanitarian crisis in Lebanon. (true facts)

United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan called for an immediate ceasefire in the region during a Thursday speech in New York.

Annan blamed the current crisis on Hezbollah, and said it must act to end the conflict by releasing two Israeli soldiers it is currently holding as prisoners.

"I have already condemned Hezbollah's attacks on Israel and acknowledged Israel's right to defend itself under Article 51 of the United Nations charter," Annan said.

"I do so again. I also condemn Hezbollah's reckless disregard for the wishes of the elected government of Lebanon and for the interests of the Lebanese people."

But while Annan blamed Hezbollah for the crisis, he also said "the excessive use of force is to be condemned," and said innocent civilians are being killed in Israeli attacks.

Lebanese Prime Minister Fuad Saniora said 306 people have died in Lebanon since the shelling began, with 1,000 injured and an estimated half-million people displaced.

Where do you think hizzbullah get missiles actually?

I know they are fanatic god believers, but trust me that "GOD" doesnt creat it for them. they get it through the airpot, road, bridges, sea...
which is why it got bombed (civilians will suffer from this, true, but if the goverment doesnt have any brain to watch whats passes there, we have right to stop the supplies for hizzbullah before it fired on us).

You can hear some voices declearing its israel fault, telling us that we should "surrender" and negotiation about the soldiers they attacked and kidnaped, and let hizzbullah live in peace and quiet.
maybe we would do that some time, but now what we need is to fight this terror group and make our north border safe again, by destroying hizzbullah.

Damn those anti-semitistical (anti-semitism) countries. I agree with farscape, on the point where media kinda twists the truth. Its like in democratic countries, ie. Finland, where media is a religion. The media, the unknown "ruler", ie. decides whom to be president. People don't choose the new president, media do. Sublimital messages, bending and twisting the truth. That is why people say, you shouldn't believe all that they say in the newspaper.

Media gives a very harsh and small view of the whole situation. It might not give the actual thing, in a whole. Just a scratch on the surrface, I'd say. In finnish newspaper, they give you this view of that Israel is bad, which is not true. It is said, that ~60% of Israels encomy goes to military fundings. About ~50 planes 24/7 is scouting in the air. That ain't small money. Even women are trained to be soldiers...
