I love Baltar because he acts the way a real persone would act in his shoes, not the way we would LIKE people to act given everything he has been put through. Baltar's character has had so many make overs in the show it's impossible to guess where he will end up; destroyer turned savior I hope. I also see a lot of myself in his character which coincidentally is same reason I love House.
I'm not insulting Baltar, he's epic, but he's also a lot of the bad trademarks of humanity.

and people are going to die. I have no idea what they're planning for Gaeta, but to me he's going to die, and I wouldn't be shocked to see Helo die, because he's the perfect human, so sacrificing himself for the greater good would be exactly what he'd do.

    • I liked this episode too, finally had to watch it on some megavideo website which was bleh. But yeah, I liked the scenes when the baseship jumped in and everyone went WTF! Plotwise it's going at a pretty fast pace now because this is the last season, after all. :bigups:

        • It would be such a waste if Gaeta was. Unless they totally mess up the story it has to be Kendra Shaw which might be happening with the Five now originating from Earth. It could be anyone at this point.

              • Scifi didn't air an episode last week but SkyOne (UK) did. I hope EZTV continues to procure episodes from the SkyOne feed so I don't have to go into withdrawal again this week. Lots of stuff happening. 2 days and I still don't know if I liked it or not but there were some great monologues (and acting) by Lampkin.

                • There was an episode last week? What the heck! SciFi holding out on me?

It's scheduled for this Friday I think.

                  • The UK airs the episodes on Tuesday instead of Friday, so the episode we will watch tonight was the one they aired on the 27th. Before we had a week off for Memorial Day, we were an episode ahead of them, now they switched it up on us.

The funny thing is, the UK aired all of Season 1 by the time we were only 2 episodes into season one on SciFi. Also, I remember during season 2 that the american airing was split into two different sections, and the UK viewing was not.

Either way, now that SciFi has an hd channel, Battlestar is probably the one show that I don't want to download and watch.

Can't wait to watch tonight. There is some 10 minute preview on scifi.com for those who dont know.

                    • * The first Hybrid gives a monologue about his knowledge of the Final Five in the extended version of "Razor". It states:

"Soon there will be four, glorious in awakening, struggling with the knowledge of their true selves. The pain of revelation bringing new clarity and in the midst of confusion, he will find her. Enemies brought together by impossible longing. Enemies now joined as one. The way forward at once unthinkable, yet inevitable. And the fifth, still in shadow, will claw toward the light, hungering for redemption that will only come in the howl of terrible suffering."

It has to be Baltar. The above explains mostly the first half of season 4. "he will find her" could means Leoben finding Starbuck.

That would definitely explain everything to date and strongly suggests Baltar is the 5th cylon. The only part that may yet be unexplained is:

"The way forward at once unthinkable, yet inevitable."

That could refer to the alliance between the cylons and humans, but I doubt it because that is already covered in the previous sentence "Enemies now joined as one." I'm betting it refers to half the cylons eventually wiping the other half out of existence permanently. Either way I'm expecting at least a couple more insane twists on this amazing ride

                        • Still 15 minutes left in the episode but is Apollo now the dying leader the prophecies speak of?

Edit: Meh, I guess not as he wasn't shot.

                          • either way he wouldn't have been 'dying' he would have just become 'dead'. A good episode, again with way more questions than answers. Spoilers below, but if you clicked this thread, you've got to know that by now.

So Lee is the president, with some cards still to play with Zarek thats for sure. I'm not sure what to think of the Williamd Adam staing behind angle, and Saul being the new Admiral. I thoguht for sure watching the preview, that Bill found out Saul was a cylon, the 'do you deny it' line. Having the Six be pregnant is a massive twist I didn't see coming though. I think the time until she is released from jail has to be soon. Also, that's the first full on cylon child, as Hera is a half breed only. That'll be interesting to see what happens there. Next week looks like a heavier CG episode as the duke it out with the ressurection hub, and that'll be awesome. I liked this episode, as even though it did what i'm currently not liking about gallactica (more questions, no answers) it did it in such a way that it was passable. I dunno, maybe thats just me. I still say Roslin is the 5th cylon. I think Baltar is to obvious, and Starbuck to crazy/obvious. I agree if it's Gaeta it's a waste. I am enjoying watching Gaeta fall from grace, as he used to be the cut of his jib type soldier, who has now gone on to perjure (spl? it's 12, what do you want from me) himself, and lose his leg. I'd place money on the fact he kills someone soon, probably Anders, or someone else while trying to kill Anders. He'll for sure kill him when it's revealed Anders is a cylon.

                            • I'm sticking with Baltar as the 5th cylon for the whole projecting thing. Tigh does it, Six does it, Baltar does it.

                              • I don't get why Adama didn't wreck the shit outta Tigh. And wtf about him stepping down. These two things don't fit with his character imo ... especially Tigh moving up instead of being severely punished. WTF?!
