You know how many Muslims are living in Africa? You know how many Muslims are killing Christians and black people in Africa just because they are black or Christians?
I am really in doubt that our lives would have been safe there. It could be the other African nations who could claim the land for themselves, as we are not descended there.
You also make it sound like it was U.S interest only to see Israel exist, and that's also because of the Jewish lobby. It is true that USA helped us a lot, but its very untrue to think they were the only one to help us nor support the found of Israel in the land of Israel. The soviets supported Israel foundation, European countries after the holocaust supported it, as you said. It was common interest, and there is no way to separate the historical connection between Jewish people and the land of Israel (Wish we would be in Scandinavia or something, I love vikings, and people are more normal :-P).
Well there was a great fear that after the British mandate will over, Arab armies would invade to prevent the partition of the country, as it was elected in the UN in which most of the countries as I mentioned wanted.
If you call that a vacuum then o.k. They probably wanted to take the land and get rid of the Jewish here.
United State and the Soivet (3 days after) did Recoginize Israel as it was declared.
But anyway
You say that Arabs were in Israel a majority before the Jews emigrate into it.
Again, it was probably true because Ottoman Empire was here. Those Arabs were NOT a descended, at least most of them were not.
I'll say three things, that will sum it up for today, as the situation is for now.
1) There was not a Palestinian nationality before Israel was created. Jordan and Egypt controlled the area that today you know as the west bank and Gaza strip.
2) Read about Black September
3) We did a BIG mistake in 1968 for not moving the Palestinian population out of all the occupied territories of Gaza and the West bank.
Egypt didn't want Gaza, and I guess Jordan didn't want the West bank, and today we are to be dealt with this issue (maybe this is why Egypt is scared of taking a responsibility on Gaza I guess).
They could have a nice country in the Sinai Peninsula =[
From the Arabs in my area I wont expect to be loved. After all they tried to exterminate us in 1948, in 1967 (was preemptive war) and 1972. They failed. Egypt was brave to sign peace with us, and Jordan, who we helped each other both in 1970 and 1972, before we had peace, did it also in 1994.
Both peace agreements are fully respected, because Israel doesn't want to be "smart". We just want to live in peace. In 2000 we could have that with the Palestinians, they chose to do the Intifada, and this is just the continuation of this mess.
But I do expect someone who sit in Europe or in any western country, and who is not a "Muslim brother", to understand what we are dealing with. With a people who chose to use terror as a mean of archiving goals. With very extreme Islamic terror groups. With people who use the media in the most clinical way to get public attention and to support their terrorism.
P.S
It's funny that genocidal thinks that he is so right with regard to this whole mess.
3) Had a place mostly uninhabited except by random African tribes which would have never mounted any serious opposition to them being there.

Surrounding Arab countries never supported the creation of Israel. It was thrust upon them. None of them wanted it from the start. Israel was just as artificial a construct as any of the other Arab states carved out of the Ottoman empire such as Iraq, TransJordan and so on. If you'll note, there's a lot of problems between Arab states as well, and within them because of the artificalness of their states. Yet still, each of these newly created Arab states had ambitious people, who seeing Britain finally withdrawing from the place, saw a power vacumn. Face it, Israel wasn't a 'real' country just yet even if America recognized it. In their eyes, everything was up for the taking, which was similar to the views of the Jews in the area when they declared the state of Israel a day early.

But to be expected to be not hated by everyone in that area for what they did, irregardless of religion (although religion does make it easier to hate I have to agree) is naive. And to expect the rest of the world to really have any sympathy for it all is also a bit naive.
