Ur a faggot Squeezer, cuz that's MY ASSThe effects that are planned to be studied on the kinetic level are: Laminar and turbulent flow; the transition between both; thermodynamics and self-organisation of complex plasma flows; solitons and shocks; interfaces and plasma instabilities; agglomeration and disagglomeration. For low-frequency excitation and confining particles modulated RF coils and high-voltage supplies are foreseen.

Hmmm... no one brought up the nice idea of bailing out GM without doing anything about one of the sources of the problem. Unions. The unions make you pay your workers too much? Oh well you fire them. Oh wait you mean they'll all go on strike if I lay off even one worker? Ok I'll open up a plant in a non-unionized state. Oh wait they're going on strike again. Hmmm so lets see, I'm paying my workers more than I can manage, I can't do anything about the workers. So what are my options a) charge more for my automobiles so that people don't want to buy them and they're no longer competitive or b) make them worse than my competitors but claim that they're the same. You know, like missing a bolt or screw here, worse engines, parts that break, who knows, we'll find something to leave out.
Now to make things worse Obama is passing a climate change bill with cap and trade and whole bunch of other goodies that will make automobile companies even less profitable. Yay Obama, good job buying GM.
I'm not bashing his decision to save GM. I'm bashing his decision to lay in bed with unions. Democrats lay in bed with unions, Republicans lay in bed with the companies that unions strangle hold. It's just the nature of two parties.http://img151.imageshack.us/img151/2561/rasaq.png

I see where you're coming from as well, there's a middle ground somewhere between pragmatism and idealism that needs to be sorted out. I would be all for an alternative that wasn't so damaging.
I have no sympathy for the UAW.USA WORLD CHAMPS

Nuclear power is the way to go. But environmentalists will never let it happen even though 30% (I forget how much) of Europe is already powered by nuclear reactors. Other sources of energy are either not cost effective or aren't readily available in enough locations to be practical yet.Last edited by saetep; 07-07-2009, 01:21 AM.http://img151.imageshack.us/img151/2561/rasaq.png

Seriously, how could any single one of you Obama supporters honestly tell me that you approve of what he has done since getting into office, or honestly tell me that things have gotten better. Is this the change you wanted or expected.
Zero point explaining anything to mudpond life like you who cant distinguish between what happening.

The only remotely worthwhile use for wind power is electrolysis to split water for fuel cells, and it's still a terrible idea.Music and medicine, I'm living in a place where they overlap.

Why does there always seem to be either one of two possibilities when discussing recycling, either the pro's or the anti's. I have several friends like this IRL, who can't just go in-between. It's either do or don't!
I am no saint when it comes to recycling, but I always turn off not-needed lights in my apartment, I do recycle a few things like glass and cans, I take my bottles to the store...when I on the other hand don't use a separate "eco" trashbin for used food (this is only due to the fact that my kitchen is too small to even fit one), I take way too long showers with too hot water, my room temperature is always a few degrees over the normal, and I know myself I buy too much stuff that I really don't need and end up throwing away.
I just keep thinking, if everyone would or could actually do this, then we would atleast be trying to do something for mother nature. We still have our luxuries, but it surely as fuck can't hurt to give a little back.
(doing this does not give advantage to other countries taxing-wise)
PS. interesting thread, keep it going.Originally Posted by HeavenSent

over 100 billion plastic bags are made each year in the united states. only 0.06% of them are recycled.
