Edit: Gran G, I think you misspelled feet, either that or it's a reference to something you don't go back to later in the poem.

And I'm pretty sure keeps should be changed to keep. I like the poem, I'm just a member of the grammar Gestapo.

just because the word play would be interesting, you should intentionally misspell curt with a k instead of a c.
