Oh it was listed on the main page, until last night they removed it since the game had been played. The time was incorrectly listed on the Results page, but that was removed as well whenever they played last night. Either way, the game is over and its too late :P Most preseason matches are not scheduled, since its not that big of a deal if your star players miss it. More so, its pick up games similar to TWD, but the league games will be scheduled more like TWL.

I guess I am just use to having a history of events on a site that can be scrolled, so in case your a day late, you can still catch up on the news...my fault for assuming and expecting that.

Left Hand and Trunks_Rage agreed to move it to Thursday for some reason, so that probably threw a lot of players for a curve. Anyway, we should have a few preseason games tonight though, so plan on being here tonight if you can.

All squads should try to come on tonight, as this should be a prime night for some preseason games. As well, I love Disney :O

How are they to practice when only two of them get picked (after all the vets) in your scrimmages? Especially when those same games are a ridiculous 7v7, which simply turns into a spawnfest anyway? A league needs interest to sustain itself, with new players playing the game everyday. Poor management, poorly organized- get it together or watch it fall apart.

You're right, it muxt be simply too hard for them to type ?go Strikeball2 and have a squad scrimmage.

I requested to join Under_Score & as a vet with many vets on that squad I can see why some have made the "stacked teams" comment. When I applied to Under_Score, there was not as many squads listed that wanted to partake in this league. Looking at the amount of squads that are recruiting vs. already so-called stacked squads, I would join a new team if necessary.

My only concern with many of the new squads, is how many of the players will be dedicated to show for all their matches? I have never missed a game in all of the TWSBL leagues that have taken place.

If there is a new squad that is serious about playing in TWSBL and will show for all their matches, I would entertain leaving Under_Score to dilute the Vet problem of a stacked team. I don't think Trunks or any squad captain would be alarmed by this action by some vets.

My concern is that I want to play and I want to be on a team that wants this too! So if there really is a concern about stacked teams, you just may find some vets are willing to join in with newer squads to level out the playing field.

Trunks, I hope this would not bother you after I applied to play for Under_Score? If there is too much negative reaction towards certain teams filled with Vet's my only concern is to make the league work and to have fun playin SB . Not that I am looking to leave Under_Score, but would consider this if it seems that the league has stacked teams.

better be... because it looks like we'll only have one if you dont create a base that will enjoy playing... not jsut 2 squads that enjoy it... but all of it. oh well. i can tell that the ideas im trying to throw across the table arent gonna be listened to anyways.

This is the point, all odds are stacked against them, and this is the challenge. Every game you play, you start out with all odds stacked against you, otherwise the game is no fun. When you start out Continuum for the first time, you're practically the worst player in the whole zone, yet you play it. You practice, spend time, and get better. This is the point of the league, you'd be a fool to think you could start out and beat someone who has been playing for 3+ years. The fun is in the challenge, who can show everyone wrong and defeat one of these "great" squads?

On the bright side, one more squad just obtained 5 or more players, and a lot of the smaller squads have thickened up over the day. At least, we can still build up as many newer squads as we can so that we have a future for the league. Whether or not Meta/Under_Score dominate the whole league or not, we still have a league and we need to work with what we have. It is difficult to regulate a league to the extent of forcing the move of players or limiting the number of teams, 4 big teams as Nockm mentioned would be disastrous as only a very low percentage of people would be able to play. This isn't so much about getting 4 very even teams that are highly competitive, but rather building up a large enough base of people that can be worked with. Try not to compare season 1 of TWSBL with season 10 of TWL. I don't agree with the intentional or unintentional stacking of any team in this league, but this league is young and it would be best if every Strikeball player did what they could to support it, and not tear it down (whether that is intentionally unbalancing the league, attacking the league's head, or attacking the league itself).

I updated the Free Agent list, removed a few people who've been picked up already and updated the squads. I'll see if I can build up the Free Agent list some more.

you're understanding perfectly. it's some of the thick skulls (we're talking neanderthal proportions here) on metanoia and under_score that can't seem to see how they're dooming the league before the season even gets underway. hi snipe.

stated pretty well...

either make this an exclusive league where only vets play, or make and effort to make sure the new people can enjoy and learn right away. your strikeball league might last one season unless you try to get a large base. if you do what nockm said and make it 3 or 4 teams, have at it. then the sb vets can go at it and the rest of us dont have to bother.

if it goes like it looks liek it could, where you have a couple squads that care and the rest not because theyre only going to get stomped on anywyas... who wants to fight for 3rd or 4th place? i guess im jsut not understanding
