As for streaks, I hope you realize it took extra coding for me to put in the continuation of streaks. It was intended to be a feature and is not the result of laziness. However, I can remove it if desired or I can erase streaks if the ship type changes over rounds. I'd appreciate more feedback on that.

I'd agree with continuation of streaks if ship type was the same, but when it changes and continues, that's what the problem is.

Whilst being open to other solutions, and we welcome your efforts, I do think the F2 menu keeps it simple and clean, being able to log the total kills and deaths would be much more beneficial.

I agree that the F2 should be what is used to keep track of kills/deaths because it's so much easier to use. Althought I'm curious to know what milosh's solution for the F2 is.

A streak is a streak. It doesnt say a streak for x ship, it shouldnt matter which ship it is. If you can win jav to 10 without dien, then win shark to 3 without dien, why shouldnt you be recognized as going 13-0? As long as the streaks are seperate for the elim, and the free play area, it shouldnt matter. Its also more impressive if you can keep a streak alive in back to back games with a different ship each time.

So if you have a good streak in jav games, that means you should never be able to play any other ships in fear of losing the streak? That obviously doesnt make sense. And it'd be a bit ridiculous to have a different streak count for each ship..

Spacely wanted me to say theres a bug where his streaks dissappeared for win streak and kill streak after he won a game

I think we know this already? What I've been saying is that it SHOULD be respective towards each ship, not that it isn't a streak when you try 8 different ships. It should be cut between games so there is more competition for the current game. I don't give a shit who got 35-0 or something the last game anymore, because that was LAST game.

I'd suggest either ending the count between games, or incorporate a system that praises people for total streak/current game streak when you check a players stats, if that's what they care about so much. Personally I don't, but you know how people are kinda crying about it right now.

i think the new ranks go by winning and losing elim like it should be. kill/death ratio shouldnt matter in elim ranking because it has nothing to do with winning elim. i have never understood how people can goto elim get fed some kills then spec for rec and have never actually won an elim but they can still be ranked #1 in elim rankings.

Lol Spacely that's the dumbest shit I've ever heard. Elim is all about getting the right ratios, and nothing about winning it. Watching your back, dodging multiple opponents, being careful with shots, and clutching with vulches is the skill elim expects you to pull out. Everyone would just hide if it was anything about wins.

Besides, I've won all the elims I played in elimbeta so far, but the win counter was not added when that was so it says I have no wins.

Either way, winning would make it all about hiding; you just 'don't understand' it because you suck and would never manage to attain the proper ratios required to get high ranks. Your bs about people getting fed to even anywhere near 1st place are urban legends and is just a convenient excuse for average players to ever try and get a foothold into changing the obviously just method of ranking elim play.

winning should have everything to do with rank you moron. hiding is what some people do anyways and others rush them. all the kill/death ratio does is make people run and hide and spec for rec so they can get a better elim ranking. it should be you win elim you advance in rankings. if some coward wants to try to hide they gonna have to fight sooner or later or get spec'd for refusing to fight.

befor roboref went down i helped ignite cheat phatfarm up in elim rankings to #1 and it stayed that way for months and months no one could touch him and he ran around telling everyone to !rank phatfarm.

if people are playing elim to rank and they dont rank off of winning elim but instead they get rank off ratio's. then why the hell should we even call it elim anymore lets call it spec4rec.

the ratio game is way to easy to manipulate and takes away from the spirit of what elim is about and thats being the last one alive.

if you want to get ranked off a ratio game then maybe they should start ranking pub.

if you look at elim ranking for all time the #1 is Unknown who has 0 wins out of 5355 games with 5397 kills or so and 0 deaths. so this guy got 1 kill a game some of the games maybe he got 2 kills. all he had to do is have someone meet him in the corner befor gogogo to give him a kill and then spec....... does he deserve the #1 rank spot in elim for doing this???
